(Gamer's POV)
We were hanging out in the classroom since it was raining outside, we all couldn't be bothered to walk all down stairs to the cafeteria. I became part of a conversation with the guys as I looked across the room to see Akire still trying to keep her hands to herself as Isra and Skyler talked to her, I looked over to Angel, seeing her read the reaper book she got yesterday as Bonnie, Amethyst and Mangle talked to her about somethings. My gaze then drifted to Leo who was reading the black-leather book again. I stared at the book, drifting off, not noticing that the lights were flickering until Death nudged me in the arm. I snapped out of it, giving Death a look until he slightly motioned his eyes to the lights which were still flickering, I looked up at them as they went out, along with the rest of the school's lights and power which was followed by kids' echos of cheers or surprise of sudden blackout that was my fault. "I'm gonna go find out what's happening" Broody left the classroom, Alex and Wilford following him "Sorry" I whispered to Death "It's okay" Death said as he nodded over to Akire. I looked over to see Akire get up and pretend to trip, grabbing Leo's arm for support until she froze, eyes glowing a bit before she let go, apologizing to Leo as he said it was no problem. Akire walked over to us as Angel said something to Anti and Dark, motioning them to come over here too.
"So what's going on?" Dark asked quietly so no one could hear "Ever since we got here, have you seen him without that book?" Death asked, Dark and Anti shook their heads, oh god, what did I just get involved in? "That isn't his book" Akire stated, getting our attention "What do you mean?" "That journal was stolen straight from the Reaper Wing volt in Hell" I looked back at Leo "That fucking-" "Woah there Stormcloud" Death said, holding my arm to keep me from walking over to Leo "He's a Blood Bounder Angel under the Darkwood Wing of Heaven, one flick of a wrist and he could kill everyone in this room" Death said, I forced myself to calm down a bit. "This means we're stealing the journal back, right?" Anti asked, hoping he was understanding what we're saying "Yeah, we are. We just have to wait for a window of opportunity to do it, the moment Leo is a good distance away from that journal, we'll take it" Akire said. Of course Akire would want to be in on this, she spent most of her life as a demon in Isle, a city run by thieves, gypses, witches… all kinds of trouble roam those streets. "So why am I a part of this?" I asked "Shadow walkers are great spies and lock pickers, that's why you're involved" Akire said. Oh god…
(Leo's POV)
I looked over to see the demons talking to each other. Planning something. Maybe they're finally interested in this journal. I looked over at Angel, she was reading a book that I've seen in Ianthe's office. I don't know why a girl like her ended up in Hell. Never made a sin at all and yet here she is, a demon with a punishment from the Royal Family of Hell. I turned the page of the journal to see an entry from a girl of 1820, I looked back at Angel. There is no way she doesn't know about those demons planning on stealing this journal…. although she could be the master mind behind it. I looked back at the book, smiling to myself. This girl is even more interesting than I thought…
(Ianthe's POV)
"And you just gave them books to solve their problem?!" Damian questioned me, slamming his fist into my desk, good to see my cousin still has anger issues "Ianthe, you should've reported it to Aristomache or at least me" Euanthe gently said, trying to not sound as mad as Damian. "There's always a few students who accidently break something due to unlocking hidden powers, when I reported it then, you guys just told me to give them books that'd help them learn more about themselves, I thought that this was the same thing" "It's not the same thing for these four" Euanthe placed an envelope onto my desk "What's this?" "Writen by Aristomache herself, explaining what the original intention of those four kids was… Ianthe, there's something coming to this school… and it's painted red" Euanthe walked out of my office. "What was that?" Damian asked as I opened the envelope, reading one of its many pieces of paper "It’s a warning… and it's not a good one" the lights went out "Stupid storm-" "That's not the storm Damian, look" I pointed over to the building where the ego classes were. Through one of the windows, one of the students looked so pissed off that his friend held him back by the arm, at the same time one of the outside lights were flickering wildly, turning red and green a few times until it blew. "The hell?" "That's one of them… this is only the beginning of something big Damian, and I have a feeling that those kids are going to be involved"…....
