Melady, not looking at Queen’s face, said, “ Okay… Come this way” and lead the way. Queen followed her, still questioning if she looked okay. Melady found a table and Queen sat nervously. Melady still doing her job, she handed Queen the menu, avoiding eye contact. “Here is your menu. I’ll come back in a minute.” Melady walked away, Queen stopped her saying, “ W-wait! I want to talk to you.” Melady stopped and turned around, to say, “I’m working, I have other customers.” Queen still wanted to talk, “Then when you get out of work? I can wait all day,” Queen said desperately. Oh my, are you serious? What a creep, she wants to wait all day? For me?... Melady signed as she knew she can’t get away from this situation, she said, “Fine… I leave work at 4:00 pm. And it's 10:48 am. Are you sure you want to wait?” Queen immediately answered, “Of course! I have nothing to do today… Oh and I know what I want to order.”

          Queen orders and Melody writes it down and leaves to do her job. Queen in her thoughts realized that, Oh my did I sound desperate? And wait all day? What am I, her stalker??... I hope I didn’t sound like that. I need to control myself, I just got a tiny vacation and now I’m crazy…. For someone. Just by thinking of Melady, she started to blush. “This is crazy,” whispered Queen as she feels her heartbeat louder than ever. Melady unaware.

          5 minutes later, Queen received her meal. “Thank you” Queen said to Melady, adding “So we meet again at 4:00pm, right?” “Yes, just like I said.” Melady answered. Melady walked away to serve new customers, Queen said under her breath, “I hope I’m not dreaming…” with a slight smile of joy that she could see and talk to Melady, even if it was just her job.

          It was 4:00 pm, the time Queen has been desperately waiting for. Melady wasn't that exciting to talk, at all. “So what do you want to talk about? You’ve been trying to all week, so this is your chance.” Melady said it like she was in a hurry, but in fact, she just didn’t want to be in this situation. “Oh right!” A few seconds of silence, Queen realized that she forgot what exactly she wanted to talk about. "Umm… I really don’t know exactly what to talk about.” Melady regrets agreeing to meet her. “Well I guess I’ll leave.” She said happily, I can’t believe she wasted my time like that. As she turns and moves away, Queen finally found something to say. Queen grabbed Melady’s arm to stopped her from leaving by saying what first came in mind. “I may have something to say.” Melady, surprised by the grab, said, “O-oh okay, then say it.” Queen looking at Melady’s eye, she hesitated to say, but she wanted to know. She cleared her throat, fixed her clothes, and looked at Melady seriously. Queen said, “What did I do for you to avoid me? To hate me?”
