A few blocks away Erica was sitting in her bed texting her boyfriend, casually blushing from time to time from all the cute things he said to her.

Erica stood up for a second, grabbing onto her dresser due to the fact her legs went all limp, since she had been sitting there most of the day.

"Geepers!" She said as she finally gained back her balance." I really need to sleep." When she felt like she was ready enough to head down the stairs. She brushed the hair out of her face and looked at the clock.

it read 2 a.m.

Erica's face felt tingly and all of a sudden really warm. She looked down at her phone.

" hey baby what are you doing rn?" Her boy friend sent a really cute picture  but she could not quite see it in the darkness.

" Oh man, its so dark" She thought about turning up the brightness all the way then when she did a bright flash of light came from all around her.

Shocked she fell onto butt and blinked continuously and rubbed her eyes trying to be able to see again.

" I can't see!!!" she yelled trying to see actual room and not blinding light.

She stopped for a second remembering the time where all her friends were over for Alex's  birthday party. She remembered what happened when the box opened and how Grace grew thorns and Kasey turned into a terrifying fire monster. 

So she thought about a long bright constant stream of light and her body produced a long stream of light.

" WHAT THE!" she thought to herself she thought about it again only brighter. 

"MY ABILITY IS LIGHT!!!" she said shocked and she glowed and walked slowly walked back to her room. Occasionally looking in a mirror to see the glow illuminate her pale pink skin.
