Back at the gate of greed, Cia, the guardian of gluttony, is walking in the swamp looking for any sign of the chasers. As she is walking, however, she does find the lifeless corpse of Plutus, who was recently defeated by Debiddo and Bolt. "Aww, poor Pluto. It seems that they got you too." Cia says as she rubs the dead body of Plutus. "Don't worry, I'll get you the revenge for you!" Cia then begins the process of eating Plutus and absorbing his soul inside her. Absorbing Plutus' soul causes Cia to increase her spiritual energy ten-fold. This makes her laugh maniacally as Plutus' abilities shoot out of her. A mile away from her; Poketo, Crystal, Jesson, and the replacement demon king Higoro are following Cia's spiritual energy to ultimately catch her before she reaches Debiddo and the rest of the group. "So this is the next gate..." Poketo says holding his nose so that he could not smell the odor coming from the swamp. "I don't sense any of our teammates over here. So I guess they already cleared this area." Jesson says as she notices how some of the terrain have been disturbed by way of a fight. "The area...it's completely destroyed!"

"Oh my," Higoro says as looks at the massive crater left behind after the fight. "Ice? It sickens me that my princess had to walk through this disgusting filth!" Crystal says as she notices ice in numerous places through the swamp. "Let's follow this ice trail, maybe it will lead us to the group," Poketo says as he walks on the ice path. "Or to our deaths," Jesson responds. "You forget that Cia also uses the element of ice as well." "Yeah, you are right about that," Poketo replies. "Well, then what should we do?" "Well, honestly you guys need to just go ahead and follow the tracks anyways. Because no matter if it is Cia or not, we still are going to end up meeting up with her regardless." Higoro says as he pats Poketo's back. "There is no point in staying here. Let's go." "Yeah, your right," Poketo says to Higoro. "I know I am right," Higoro replies as he walks away. "You don't have to be a jerk about it." Poketo, Jesson, and Crystal say to themselves. At the gate of wrath, Debiddo and Bolt are clashing with each other, still thinking that the one they are fighting are the ones they hate the most. Bolt charges in, striking Debiddo with a flying ax kick which Debiddo blocks and tries to counter with a flurry of strikes to Bolt's back. 

"Take this demon! Ahhhhhhh" Debiddo yells as his spiritual energy grows redder and redder. Bolt coughs up some blood and looks up to see his brother standing in front of him. "Pathetic, you made it all this way, and that's all you can show me? I guess you are just as weak as your father." Denko says as he kicks Bolt in the stomach. As Bolt coughs in pain, Himawari runs in to try to stop both of them. "Guys stop! What are you guys doing? Why are you not listening to me?" Himawari cries go unheard as she gets pushed away by the intense blast of energy coming from Debiddo and Bolt fighting. This enrages Himawari, whose spiritual energy starts to increase. "I SAID STOP!" Himawari says as she builds up her spiritual energy. "I'm tired of this fog! Fujin Art! Grand Tornado!" Himawari creates a powerful tornado that sucks up Debiddo and Bolt in it. The winds are so strong that it clears the fog around everyone snapping people out of their trance. "What? What's going on?" Kori says as she finished freezing some of the demons that were attacking her. "Apparently we got separated," Issho says as he and Daruri walk up to Kori. "Apparently something blew away this fog that was affecting us." Daruri says "This spiritual energy...so Himawari is the one who did it." Issho says as the rest of the fog disappears around them. 

"Mmph, Airhead.." Kori says as she pouts realizing she was saved by Himawari. Back where Himawari, Bolt, and Debiddo are located, the tornado finally dies down causing Debiddo and Bolt to fall out onto the ground. "Ahhh my head, what happened," Debiddo said rubbing his head. "Yeah it feels like I got hit with a hammer!" Bolt says as he tries to get up. "You idiots got caught in that fog and got brainwashed," Himawari says as she shakes her head. "Really? Wow, everything just felt like I was in a dream...I can't remember anything that went on." Debiddo says in confusion. "We need to keep moving...We got to go to beat this guardian so that we can make it to the next gate." "Your right Hima, we got no time to rest, lets move before the fog comes back," Debiddo says as he gets ready to move out with his team. Near the end of the gate of wrath, Raphael faces off with Phillip who is paralyzed in fear. "Fog of despair!" Phillip says as he creates a large amount of Fog that hides him from Raphael. This doesn't faze Raphael however, because he increases the flames that were coming out of his body. The fire is so intense, that it causes the fog to continue to evaporate.

 This surprises Phillip who became visible because of the fire evaporating the fog. "Why are you not affected by my fog? You don't have anyone that you hate?" Phillips says as he backs away from Raphael in fear. Raphael's eyes glow bright red through the remanding fog with a sadistic smile. "Oh, that's because I don't hate people. Only weak-minded people could possibly hate someone, and with you demon, the only thing I feel is pity." "Pity?" Phillip says enraged. "You--you a lowly chaser pitty me? A guardian of the gate of hell? You make me laugh!" "See, I pity you not because I don't think you strong. I pity you because you think you are stronger than me." Raphael says as his flame explodes, burning Phillip on impact. "What's wrong? I haven't even attacked yet. Are you this weak and feeble that some little fire defeats you?" "D—Damn you!" Philips says as he creates some more fog to run away." "Tch, Pathetic," Raphael says as his fire dies down. Philip reappears a distance away, running in fear. "That chaser is trouble...I got to warn the rest of them about these guys. They are way stronger than we previously estimated!" Out of nowhere, Raphael pops up in front of Philip using his flames and stands in his way. "And where do you think you are going? We are not done." Raphael says as he attempts to attack Phillip with his flame, only to have Phillip dodge the attack by turning into Fog. Phillip then tries to run away again. "Damnit, I can't get away from him. I didn't want to do this, but I'm going to have to get away somehow!" As Phillip got closer to his end gate, he stops and turned around to the pursuing Raphael. 

"Fog Tower Explosion!" Phillips says as he creates a large wave of fog that surrounds Raphael again. "You haven't learned your lesson yet?" Raphael says as he shakes his head in disappointment. Raphael uses his flame to get rid of the fog again, however, Philip is now at his gate. He opens his gate and escapes before Raphael could get in his way. "Tch, he got away," Raphael says as his fire attack missed and hit the gate. Moments later, Debiddo and the rest of the group catches up with Raphael. "Hey Raphael, You defeated Phillip?" Daruri says as looks around for the demon. "No, he ran away through this gate...Weakling," Raphael says as he spits on the ground. "Well that's good, which means we can move on," Gus says as he pats the back of Raphael. Raphael immediately turns on his flames which burns Gus's hand slightly and causes him to fall back. "Anyways let's move on, I'm tired and I want to get back to the human realm so that I can get some rest. "Yes, cause the ice princess needs her beauty rest." Bolt says in a sarcastic tone. This causes Kori to get upset and her Genki causes the surrounding area to start freezing. "Whoa, there princess, we need to get back focus. These next gates are going to be the strongest ones." Daruri says as he walks up and touches Kori's shoulder. This catches everyone off guard because Kori's ice did not affect Daruri at all. 

"We also got to worry about the fact that Phillip is now going to join up with the next guardian. It's going to be an even harder task now." Mizu says. "That's no problem, Brock and friends will beat Demon guardians easily, right Fire man?" Brock says to Raphael. "Anyways let's move on to this next gate," Debiddo says as he walks to the gate. Debiddo opens the gate and immediately, a blast of fog explodes through the gate catching everyone off guard. The impact sends Debiddo flying, however, Brock is there to catch Debiddo. "Thanks, Brock," Debiddo says as Brock lets him down. "This no problem little man," Brock says giving Debiddo a thumbs up. When the team looks through the gate, they see a large tower where demons of all shapes and sizes surround the tower itself. The sky is a dark purple hue and the area is covered in flames. "This everyone, is the epicenter of Hell. Where the last 3 gates are located and where the demon king is located. "Everybody get ready, we got company," Issho says as everyone looks up to see Phillip standing on top of a rock pile with a toothy grin. "Hey Everyone, The first one who can kill these chasers will be able to be part of the demon king's royal guard!" Phillip says to all nearby Demons. Hearing this, the surrounding demons proceed to charge at the team in large numbers. "Here they come," Daruri says as everyone prepares to fight. Raphael stands in front of everyone and takes a deep breath. "Raphael, what are you doing?" Debiddo says confused. "Musubi Art: Breath of the Fallen Dragon!" Raphael says as he fires a large number of flames out his mouth, destroying a large number of demons. This surprises everyone, including Debiddo as his mouth, stays open in shock from seeing this. "Tch, seriously?" Phillip says annoyed. "Still can't get the job done huh Phillip?" Says an unknown voice in the distance. "Ah, Florance you are here," Phillip says as he turns around and sees two people stand beside him. "Ah, Hernani, and Malacoda. You are here too." "Don't forget me!" Says another voice that is behind Debiddo and the team. It was Cia, who finally caught up with the group. She jumps over everyone and lands near the rest of the guardians. "Cia? Wait...if she is here...that means." Himawari says horrified." 

"They..." Kori says shocked. "Poketo..." Debiddo says thinking about Poketo and the time they shared during the tunnel of death. "What happened to them!?" Daruri says angrily. "Oh them? Probably frozen over in the snow by now hahaha!" Cia says as she laughs away. "You let some rats through Cia," Malacoda says in a scolding tone. "I'm sowwy Mali, They tricked me and split up their stupid team, but I did get rid of some of them though!" Cia says jumping up and down. "Good girl," Malacoda says as he pets Cia's head, making her blush with joy. Malacoda looks up at the Chaser team and sees that every one spiritual energy starts to spike. "Oh, looks like some people are mad," Hernani says in a monotonous tone. Debiddo and Kori appear instantly to the guardians and tries to strike Cia. However, Florance blocks the attack with her demon pet, whose body blocks the attack and sends both of them flying. Himawari uses her wind ability to catch them before they fall, and Daruri and Issho grabs both of them so they won't try to attack again. "Calm down you two, acting rashly like that will only get yourself killed!" Daruri says holding Debiddo back. "We cannot let their death be in vain." Daruri saying this, calms the both of them down. "it seems you need to get your men under control." Hernani says with a chuckle. 

"Anyways, welcome chasers to the darkest and hottest part of Hell. We are gathered here in front of you to welcome you all to our hideout. Seeing that you won't be surviving the rest of us, we will be fighting you guys in any way you want, and if you can somehow get through all of us, and get through two more of us that are not here right now, we will gladly let you face our king. So come on into our tower..we will be waiting for you, but first...Cia and Phillip will be your opponents. If you beat them, we will be awaiting your entry to our tower. Goodbye." Florence says as all the demons excluding Cia and Phillip, leave inside the tower. "Are we seriously doing this?" Debiddo asks. "We don't really have a choice," Daruri says looking at Cia and Phillip attentively. "We just got to get through them. This is going to be fun." Debiddo says nervously.
