So recently I read The Fangs Are Stronger Than The Venom (great job with that btw) and it got me thinking a bit. One of the points Tord used for his argument was the fact that having a baby could be dangerous for Anya. I thought back to happy family au and the way that the entire situation of Anya being pregnant was handled differently, but I was kinda wondering if anything happened that replaced the fight. Maybe just a long conversation about the risks after the two calmed down from celebrating

The reason Tord lost his temper and it became an explosive argument is bc he was running on fumes after working 3 days straight without any real sleep.

In Happy Family, Anya instead got her check up 2 days after the original events would have taken place.

With Tord in a better mind set, he was able to keep his cool with Anya and instead of the argument ending badly, the two instead took some time to themselves to think it over before picking the topic back up when they were both ready.

Tord has still the same worries as before, but after realizing how much the guilt and grief of giving up her child would destroy Anya, he gave in and let her go through with it.

Being in a better environment, Anya had an easier pregnancy, and delivery wasn't as stressful, but still hard.

Sadly, that's the mindset i had for writing their relationship in the au, when taking into count their personalities, the situation and the mental states leading up into everything.

I've stated a few times in the past that Anya and Tord are the most Toxic of the couples in the main au, but that's mostly down the line towards Anyas death.

Honestly, when writing them, I've always had that in mind. Relationships can change and develope in different environments, changing situations, and ect.

Even if they started out loving each other, by the end of it, they don't completely love each other, and by that point, they NEED each other nearing the end.

Both become so use to having one another near by, and because neither have been in a long term relationship before, that at that point neither know, if or how they could or should break it off.

Long term relationships can be hard to break off the longer they go on, because people can often forget how to be alone. So being alone becomes scary.

Anya has never broken off a emotionally toxic or abusive relationship unless it's become physical. And Tord has usually been the one who gets broken up with, or it's a few times n done situation. So in turn, neither could see just how bad things had gotten, and how it would have been best to temporarily separate, or at least get help before it got so bad.

In Tord's mind: She's stuck around, she loves me, things are oki

In Anya's mind: He hasn't hurt me, he doesn't restrict my actions, he loves me, no reason to leave.

This includes the mind set a dictatorship often creates, Tord needs to be in control, whether that's controlling how people see him, or what HE thinks is for the best, not what might actually be best. Added to the fact Anya is passive and does what Tord tells her to do willingly, doesn't help.

Anya trusted Tord loved her, and was always doing what was best for her, and that it just wasn't the right time to have a public relationship, let alone get married. And at that point in her life, she even gave up hope she'd be able to have a baby. Her only hope was Tord would always love her, and they'd be a happy family some day soon.

That's the main reason why both reacted so badly. Tord couldn't handle, in the moment, that Anya was arguing with him. And Anya couldn't handle that all her trust and hope in him were being shattered.

Anya and Tord are Toxic. That's a fact. And if anyone spoke up about getting help, both ignored it, thinking things were fine.

Ok here's me paraphrasing.

Anya ran away from the Red Army after a fight with Tord. When she went into labor she managed to call the base (wasn't thinking straight) and Tord didn't get her message until after a meeting, so he sent Paul, Patryck and A.K. to bring her back with the baby.

She was murdered at the hospital before they could get there, and A.K. was the one who retrieved Tobi from the nursery and held him the whole time on the way back to the base.

No one knows WHO exactly killed Anya, bc im an ass who won't confirm or deny anything n am just leaving yall hanging for that.

I don't have the old notes (bc they were on wattpad AGAIN), but if i remember right, there was one version i thought of where a nurse wrapped Tobi is a red blanket telling Anya she was taking him to the nursery so she can sleep.

Tho it's seeing the red blanket that raises a warning for Anya even in her exhausted state, and she asks another nurse for a phone to. Try and call her "parents", and that's when Tord finally finds out where she is.

N that's as far as i got w/ it.

Tho in another version the red blanket was actually Anya's cloak (the obe in the video) n A.K. wrapped Tobi in it to keep him hidden.

That's another version i thought of, but i didn't know how to write gun fights n describe it properly sooooooo ye ANOTHER REASON I REFUSE TO COMFIRM ANYTHING im lazy.

But yes, there was a version where enemy troops stormed the hospital, AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ANYA WAS THERE (More like a terrist attack than school shooting situation) but wasn't confirmed to be canon bc im a lazy bitch.
