Episode 2~ Stranger
The Yamiyo Family was as ordinary-looking as any person you'd pass on the streets. Yet Takayumi Kei Yamiyo, my childhood friend, was the only one that made me smile... the only one that made me happy.
But as we grew older, I grew further from him.
I watched as he walked down the halls. He didn't look up, he was afraid to. I snickered as my group closed in on him.
He looked up with desperate eyes as if begging me to save him. I knocked him over watching as his things fell from his delicate arms. He looked up at me with his blue eyes which slowly turned dark as tears threatened to cloud them.
I smirked, and bent down. Seeing my mother's collar that rested upon his neck. My eyes softened for a second as I remembered her warm embrace. I looked towards my childhood friend, and growled as I ripped it away from his neck.
"What makes you think you have the right to wear my mother's collar?" I asked with a sneer.
he shook. "Hitoshi-kun..." He whispered tears escaped his eyes as I tucked the collar into my pocket.
"You are a useless omega." I bent down to his level lifting his face up with one finger, giving him a sinister grin.
He didn't fight back as tears streamed down his face. I laughed and motioned for my group to follow me to class.
I sat in my desk remembering the last time he called me by my first name.
It was 2 years ago...
"Ew. What a disgusting person..." A person said as they pointed towards Takayumi.
"I bet he leads alpha's to his room." Someone snickered as we passed.
I looked towards him as he spoke, as if he didn't hear the hurtful words directed towards him.
"Taka?" I questioned, he smiled to me.
"Yes Hito?"
"How have you been feeling as of recently?"
"I'm fine... why do you ask Hito?"
"N...No reason." I said as I stopped in front of his classroom. "See you at lunch okay?" He nodded, and walked into his classroom.
I began to walk into my classroom until... people stood in front of me. "Is he good?"
I adjusted my grip on my things. "Good at what?" I questioned.
The boys rolled their eyes. "We know you two do the nasty... Afterall he does it with everyone." They snickered.
I rolled my eyes. "He's not like that-"
"That's not what the boys that have been with him say!" They laughed. I glared.
"Stop spreading rumors you buffoons'."
I passed them but as I did I heard. "They are made for each other both are s****y." They laughed. I turned around ready to punch one of them in the face but stopped as soon as I saw Takayuki. Someone had him in their arms, as he pushed him into a door.
I watched... until I turned around. I couldn't stand seeing my friend... exactly like they said in their rumors. How many people had he... done that with?
I growled. How could he be like this? Where was the innocent Takayuki I thought I knew?
I walked into the classroom, my mind clouded with those thoughts until the lunch bell rang out. "Hito!" Takayuki yelled as he ran towards me. I didn't bother turning around. "Hito! Hey wait up!" He yelled again as he raced towards me, upon seeing my face he tilted his head. "Hito do you need to talk? You look angry. Who did it, point me in their direction and I'll beat them up." I didn't respond as I angrily grabbed a tray. "Come on Hito-kun! Rely on me... that's what friends do right?"
I growled. "What an annoying pest. Stop folllowing me around like a lost puppy, omega."
I watched as Takayuki's face became one that could describe pure shock. "Hitoshi-kun... why are you being so mean?" He questioned.
I turned around quickly glaring at him as we made eye-contact. "Because you are a worthless omega."
"I though we were friends Hitoshi-kun." He whispered as he looked down, only to look up at me with teary eyes.
"I'd never be friends with the likes of you." I spat at him. He flinched away like my words were made from pure venom.
"Hitoshi-kun stop it please!" He begged as tears fell from his face.
But I didn't stop, I continued on, my anger being one that couldn't be contained anymore. "I bet your alpha would be disappointed to have someone like you as their fated mate." I said with a smirk, crossing my arms as I waited for his reaction.
He clutched his heart as his teary eyes finally looked back into my red ones. "You're right Tsuyoshi... he is."
He didn't allow me to speak as he turned away.
And like that... my childhood friend became a stranger to me.
A stranger that I wouldn't allow to get close to me.
