'Ah! It should be this next right I believe...'
I took the next right and my eyes widened.
'Y-you're kidding, right?'
A waiting line from outside of GameGo was all the way to where I was standing. The wait was easily an hour long by the looks of things.
'O-ok... calm down, Craig. You can always buy the digital version online... The only thing you are missing out on by not buying the physical Collector's Edition is the exclusive launch day digital female swimsuit collection...'
I sat on that thought for a couple seconds...
'SCREW THAT! IM GETTING THAT SWIMSUIT COLLECTION NO MATTER THE WAIT TIME!'
I got in the back of the line for GameGo and began the long wait that it would take to get my hands on the new game. The cold wind blew hard against my face as I stood in line.
'This... this is a test to test my limits... I WILL NOT FAIL!'
The line continued to get shorter as each new customer quickly went into the store and out all holding the same exact game... 'Izix'.
'Izix' was supposed to have the most advanced graphics out of any of the games the company has made before, and that reason greatly contributed to the fact that a couple months ago the new consoles came out.
Just like I am now, when the consoles came out I also waited at midnight to get the PlayBox 5.
'I'm pretty sure I waited in that line for over 4 hours...' I thought.
The air during the night began to get colder once more and that was when I decided to put up my hood from my jacket over my head. The type of clothes that I usually wear when I'm not working are usually clothes wit hoods.
At my apartment most of my clothes have hoods on them and during the fall and winter seasons wearing those clothes and hoodies.
I had now been waiting in the line for about 2 and a half hours now and I was now fifth in line. The person in front of me looked to be in his late teens. The person in front of him was an adult probably in his thirties.
Then in front of that man was a women and her kid who looked to be around 14-15 years old.
'This kid got his mom to stand in this line for this long? I'm pretty sure I haven't heard her complain at all! Must be nice to have a mom like that...' I thought a little jealous.
A little more time went on and that women and her child stepped into the store. More people were coming out of GameGo now and they were all carrying the same game... 'Izix'.
'Aw man, I hope they aren't sold out...'
It was now my turn to enter into the store and as I did, the women and the child that I saw earlier stepped out of the store. I continued my way in the small store that GameGo was and headed to the back section where 'Izix' was on display.
'You're kidding...'
On the display shelf was about 3 versions of the game left with 7 or 8 people crowded around it all trying to grab it from their hands.
"U-um please settle down!" shouted the GameGo employee has they tried to calm down the rowdy group.
I made my way over to the display and squeezed my way through the crowd and made it to the front of the crowd.
'OH! I SEE IT! PLEASE... PLEASE REACH THE LAST GAME COPY!' I thought, stretching my arm out to try and grab the final game copy.
When it a fast motion an arm quickly grabbed the last game from the shelf. I turned to see who it was and it was a girl who looked to be in her mid-twenties.
"GOD DAMMIT!" I cried out.
"You're joking..."
"After I waited in that long line..."
"What about the swimsuit collection..."
People around me were all complaining about not getting the last game. During that time the women who got the last copy of the game went up the the counter with the other 2 people who got the game as well.
*sigh*
I let out a sigh and made my way to the exit of GameGo. I took one final look at the three people that were in line, about to purchase the game I was so longing for, 'Izix'.
At the same time the other four people whop didn't get a copy of the game all walked past me. I then proceeded to follow them, as I was the last person who didn't get a copy of the game to walk out of the store.
When walking out, the line that was once there was completely gone now, as they probably found out that the game they were waiting in line for was completely sold out.
The other people who walked out of the store were still complaining, giving big sighs and groans that showed their disappointment. We all went our separate ways as everyone else who walked out of the store the same time as me went to their cars and drove off, while I turned and walked the path I took to get here.
