"This concludes your evaluation. You may head back to your living quarters. Maybe then you can contemplate your life choices." He said slowly strolling to the darker side of the room dissipating into the depths of the darkness.

I dropped to my knees my eyes staring at his corpse. Guilt overwhelming my already empty soul. I felt a couple of hands covering my eyes comforting me. A soft voice telling me that everything was going to be okay.

"It's going to be okay." She murmured softly as she wrapped her other arm around my body gently rocking me back and forth.

"Let's get you cleaned up." Eris's muscular arms snaked around my waist lifting me up from the floor.

"Can you walk?" She questioned.

I jerked my head narrowing my eyes at her.

"You dare question my abilities?" I snarked back.

I took a step forward. Excruciating pain shot up my leg as I came crashing down into a pair of arms. Eris took my arm draping it over her shoulder then dragging my dysfunctional self along.

To be honest, I felt dead inside. This burning feeling inside... I just want to let the fire that's burning inside me run wild. Maybe I just needed more sleep? It could honestly be sleep deprivation. All I want to do right now is to curl into a ball and forget all these things I'm feeling away. I thought to myself as I stared into nothingness.

As we were leaving The Purgatory, there was a clutterfuck of people around us. It was mixture of a big blobs and blurs of humanly figures whispering amongst themselves. I couldn't help but to notice several glares that laid on us? Was it just me? Or..?

Too exhausted to even care, I just wanted to sleep. Too tired to even dream, I slipped deeper and deeper into a state of unconsciousness.

I woke up finding myself in bed. All the cuts and bruises I've gotten early were nicely patched. Even my thigh was well wrapped. I shot up from the bed, instantly regretting my choice of action. My head started spinning, the burning sensation of being cut countless times still lingered over my whole body. Even the slightest movement hurt like hell.

Ugh, just kill me now... I groaned reaching over for the glass of water."

"I'm impressed. The sleeping beauty is finally up."

"The hell? Y- You're still here?" I choked spitting out mouthful of water.

"Not even uttering a thank you? I'm disappointed." She clicked her tongue.

"Yea, thanks for shanking my thigh. I appreciate it." I retorted back.

"Yea, yea. No problem." She said tossing me paper towels.

"Look, I gotta go and take care of a few things. You should get up soon. You wouldn't want to miss the announcements." She said as she headed towards the door.

"Tch. If I wasn't immobilized, I would've taken you down by now." Scarlet muttered under her breath.

Eris stopped in her tracks a smirk surfacing. "Can you say that again? I didn't quite hear you."

"Fuck you." Scarlet cheekily smiled.

A wide grin appeared as she whirled around facing her. "Is that a challenge Ms. Wolfe?"

"If I wasn't injured, I totally would take you up on that."

Eris discreetly stalked towards the front of the bed. Her eyes faintly glowing an alluring crystal blue. She moved swiftly on the tips of her toes tackling me down onto the bed. She straddled my waist tightly pinning my arms against my sides. Her face inches away from mine. She wore a devilish smile as she licked her lips.

The quick motion of her tongue running across that nice defined cupid's bow continuously replayed in my mind.

"Your face is red." Eris pointed out chuckling.

"Is this turning you on?" She also added.

I looked away pretending to find something more interesting to look at. I laid deadly still; afraid that she may be able to hear how fast my heart was going. Just thinking about it, I suddenly felt my body getting hotter. I found it impossible. I couldn't peel my eyes away from this captivating sly devil in front me.

"It's just... You're such a cheater taking advantage of a disabled."

Eris leaned even closer. Her body pressed against mine.

She inched even further whispering into my ear "did you know?"

I crunched my eyes brows "know what?"

"You drool and snore in your sleep."

I felt the heat surge up my face. I squirmed under her kicking her off me.

She tumbled over onto the other side of the bed laughing.

"You know, this soft side that you have... I didn't expect you would have one. I like it." She winked and blew a kiss at me.

I rolled my eyes back at her crossing my arms.

"Time's running short. I got a few errands to take care of. Don't be late to your seminar." Eris waved as she headed out.
