CHAPTER 13 (Part 2)

He stood up and took my hands to pull into a certain spot in the garden.

He told me everything about the reason why he doesn't like playing with boys, how he doesn't have any friends and what I told him five years ago.

So Delie was angry since she thought that Kayle was the reason why she lost her first friend and doesn't know that she was being badmouthed behind her back.

Jeez. Kids are such gossippers these days. My adult self can't keep up.

"I'm sorry"

Those words suddenly left my mouth as soon as Kayle finishes what he was telling me.

"For what? You pity me?"

He gave me a smirk with a pained expression on his eyes.

"No, I don't! Why do I pity a spoiled brat like you?"

He widened his eyes at my words and laughs. I can't still see him as a boy though since he looks prettier than me when wearing girl's clothes. He looks similar to aunt Illiana earlier.

"Then why?"

"I'm sorry for telling you all those things and not realizing that you are my friend"

He looks behind me and smiled.

"Want to become friends now?"

I reached my hand to him and I took it without doubts.

"Thank you"

He muttered with a faint smile.

I wish Delie would understand him. This boy only needs someone to understand him.

I wonder if I didn't transmigrate here and took Delie's body, will she reconcile with him? What will Delie do?

Something inside me tells me that I shouldn't have done this but I don't why. Am I changing something, somehow?

"Now then"

He grins.

"?"

I tilted my head in confusion.

"Have fun!"

I was suddenly seated on a large branch of a tree where I'm many feet away from the ground.

"Why am I here?"

How can I get down??

"Hahahaha! That's your punishment! You thought I'll let you slide just like that? That's for punching my face"

He teleported me here?? Is his gift teleportation?

"Get me down!! I'm going to kick your face after I get down here!"

"Try going down first!"

He sticks his tongue out and gives me a peace sign. I hate it that he is pretty! And now he is playing his tricks on me?!

"Hey wait! Where are you going?"

He walks away from me and try to go inside his treehouse.

"Going inside"

"Don't leave me! Get me down first!"

I try standing up but I can feel the branch shake for a bit which made me hug the large branch of the tree.

"See you!"

He gave me a small wave and smile.

"Arghhhhh!!!"

My shout echoed in the whole manor.

About two hours had passed, he teleported back to me when he saw me staring far away.

"Hey, let's go back"

He teleported beside me and I just ignored him.

"You don't want to go back?"

He asked me. He goes near me so I decided to use this chance.

"I'm going to kick you!"

I was about to kick him when one of my foot slides on the branch.

"!"

I'm going to fall down!

"Delie!"

He took my hand and quickly teleported us on the ground.

"Ah...thanks"

I patted his head with a grin. He slaps my hand to remove it from his head.

"Stop that, you almost fell! I don't know what I'll do if you got hurt!"

He yells at me. Boy, calm down now.

"Look, I'm sorry! It's done right? I'm safe now thanks to you!"

I even flex my small arms to him to show off that I'm alright.

"Grrr...idiot!"

He glares at me before stomping his feet away from me to get inside the manor.

What's wrong with him? I'm alright now!

I went to eat dinner with my aunt but Kayle didn't come so aunt Illiana told his butler to send him the food instead.

"Don't worry, aunt! I'm going to give it to him!"

I went to his room with his butler guiding him. He was the one who knock Kayle's door.

"Young master, your dinner is here"

"Just put it infront of the door"

He replied.

The butler bows his head to me before he leaves. I'll wait for him to come out so I'll sit here outside his room beside his door. I hug my knees and put my head to rest on it.

I'll take this opportunity for me and him to be in good terms again.

"Ron...?"

I heard his door slowly open before he pops his head out and finally opening the door.

"Where's my food?"

"Here it is!"

I told him with wide smile in my face. He was surprised to see me holding his tray of food.

"You! Why are you here?"

I ignored him and quickly went inside his room.

"Hey! Get out! This is still my room! A boy's room!"

I continued to ignore him and just sit on his bed before putting his food on a table beside his bed.

"Eat now, I won't get out unless you eat it all!"

I crossed my arms. He looks very annoyed at my actions.

"Fine, fine!"

He took the tray and eat it as fast as he could.

"Whoa...slow down!"

He almost choke while eating it. I patted his back to help him swallow his food properly.

"I'm done, now get out"

He gave me the empty tray but I just put it on the table once more.

"What are you doing? Didn't I told you to get ou-"

I pinched his ears to shut him up.

"Ouch!"

"Let's play first!"

"What? No way!"

"Are you afraid to lose to me?"

I sneered at him.

"Alright, what will we play?"

He asked me as I sit down on his room's carpet.

"Do you have cards?"

"You mean the one's they use for casinos?"

"Yup!"

"I do...wait"

He rummages to his cabinet and find a set of blue deck cards.

"Do you know how to play this?"

I asked him while I'm shuffling the cards.

"A little bit"

He answered.

"You know?"

He asked me.

"Of course"

I put my chin up before placing the cards.

Even though I'm not really good in playing this card, I'm still an adult that can easily beat a kid like him!

"The winner can draw something to the loser's face!"

I took an ink bottle from his desk.

"Are you sure?"

He lifted one of his eyebrows.

"Sure!"

I'll draw a large moustache in your face. Hahaha!!

After two sets of rounds and finally the third one...

"Royal flush"

He puts down his A, K, Q, J, 10 cards infront of me. My full house cards didn't even match to him!

"Come on, give me your face"

"This is the third time! You already put a circle in my right eye and an X in my left cheek!"

"Just give me your face, you're the one who suggested this"

I sighed and give up. He draws something on my other cheek.

"There, a star"

He puts down his brush and lies on the carpet with the cards scatter on the floor. I also went to lie on his opposite side that's why we are both looking at the ceiling.

"Don't you need to go back to your room?"

He asked me.

"Nah...I'm too tired to walk back there"

"You do know I'm still a boy, right?"

I giggled.

"Say, why do you like wearing feminine clothes and doing feminine stuffs?"

"Why, does it bother you?"

"No, I'm just curious"

I heard him sigh.

"I'm only interested in those things but when I go outside the manor or when there is a visitor, I wear boy clothes and do boy stuffs...I only like to wear those as a hobby since I want to design clothes one day and do it as a business"

"I see..."

"Whenever I tried hanging out with boys, they only talk about swords or training and it is so boring! That's why I prefer playing with girls...I'm still the heir of my family so I need to act like one, I wish a have a little sister to dress up with so that I won't have to use myself when I'm coordinating clothes"

"Why don't you visit me and Dahlia? We can play together! You can treat her as a little sister!"

I suggested to him. I heard him laugh softly.

"I'll think about it"

"And I hope you fulfill your wish!"

I told him before yawning and closing my eyes.

"Thank you for coming back, Delie..."

I heard him say something but I didn't hear it clearly since I'm too sleepy to ask him again.

Goodnight, Kayle...

~3rd Person POV~

"Have you seen the young miss, sir Ron?"

Sara went outside her room to check on Delie but she is not in her room so she took a magic lantern to find her. Then she finds the handsome butler earlier walking so she asked him.

"The last time I saw her was when she took the young master's tray in his room"

"Really? Then she must be in that area!"

Sara went to the direction of Kayle's room when the butler took her hand. Her heart skips a beat.

"Let's go look together, the young lady is still our visitor so it is our responsibility too"

They both head to Kayle's room to find Delie.

"Hm? The door is open?"

The butler named Ron opens the door and saw the two young kids sleeping peacefully.

"Oh my!"

Sara smiled at the sight of the children.

"It's been a long time since I saw the young master smile like that"

Ron commented as they both admire the sleeping faces of the two.
