The next day has arrived very fast. Some people are cleaning up the disaster made last night at the party and others are ready to start looking again after their young alpha’s mate. Dalton and Wilton with the searching team while Merlya is helping with the house cleaning, thinking that her son was still sleeping from the sedative Jinx given to him last night. But what they don't know is that Thomas wasn't sleeping for a long time. He woke up earlier than everyone. And by early, I mean at 5 a.m. and immediately started searching for Mark. When he finished dressing up, he decided to jump from his window so no one will notice his absence. If his mom would have seen what he did, she would be so mad at him that he will be punished for years. And that’s because his room is on the second floor, so you can imagine that he got himself a little hurt when he landed.

Now he is running through the forest trying to smell his mate's scent, but at the same time he is scolded by his wolf, who is giving him a huge moral. Not even his mother given him such a moral. “I can't believe you rejected him like that!! No! I cannot believe you could reject our mates!! Tin-head!” Hyperion screamed at Thomas who is apologizing that he was a big idiot. “When we find them, I hope you won't have a stubborn idea again! Or I'll kick your ass!” “Not you too! It's not enough that I have my mother and my best friend after me, each one with a ladle?!” Thomas asked being scared at the same time. His parents are mad at him that he rejected his mate, his best friend as well and his friends might be angry as well.

After Hyperion, finished his "show" both him and Thomas began to feel Mark's scent. Thomas started to run faster until he saw his mate’s car. The scene in front of his eyes made his heart stop. Mark's car is like a smashed metal box with the car's hood in a tree. Thomas runs to the car and begins to look for Mark. He sees him still in the driver’s sit with his head in the airbag. Without hesitation he breaks the car’s door and pulled Mark out of there. Mark has a bloody face full of cuts that still have some shards from the windshield in them. He has even in the rest of his body wounds with shards in them that are still bleeding.

Thomas tried to wake Mark up. He shacked Mark’s body, but nothing. He tried mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but also nothing. Then, even if he thought it is a dumb idea, he tries waking him up with light touches on the cheeks and kisses, but nothing worked. Seeing that nothing wakes his mate up, he puts his head on his chest, hoping he will hear his heart still beating. To his luck Mark's heart still beats and has a pulse, but a very weak one. He looks in the car to take Mark's luggages, but something strange draws Thomas's attention.

The airbag has a lot of black blood, which he never seen in his whole life, and a strange looking flower. He took the weird flower in a napkin, took his penknife out of his pocket and cut the airbag and put those two items in his jacket, then took Mark on his back, took Mark's luggages in his hands and started to run as fast as he could back to the pack so he could go with his mate to the hospital at Jinx. “Please Mark... Please be fine...” he said while making sure that his mate won’t fall off his back.

After 15 minutes he returned to the pack and opened the door so sudden that everyone in the house got scared. He dropped the luggages around the stairs area and he runed to the hospital to ask Jinx to heal his little mate. Once in the hospital, Thomas went straight to Jinx's office without caring that the chef nurse was running after him screaming his name and opened the door with his foot making Jinx jump from his chair.

“Jinx! Please! Help him!” The doctor could not say anything because when he turned his head to his alpha, he saw how bad Mark was injured. “Fuck! Put him on the bed fast!” Jinx told Thomas, then he runs out from his office taking the chef nurse with him and quickly brings in all the necessary equipment. “Doctor Jinx, why did you take me away like… Oh dear Moon Goddess!! What happened to him?!” “Miss Brook, please calm down.” Jinx told the elderly lady, then looked at Thomas while he was stabilizing Mark.

“Car Accident...” He tried to stay calm, knowing that if he will not do that he would start crying. Jinx told miss Brook to go and put Mark on the list of patients in critical stat and after the nurse left the room, he looked seriously at his alpha. “Did you find anything else at the scene of the accident? Something unusual?” That question remembered Thomas of what he took from the car and took the two items out of his jacket’s pocket, giving them to the doctor. “That weird looking flower and a lot of black blood on the airbag where Mark was unconscious. I took just a little piece of the airbag with me because I was scared that Mark will die if I won’t hurry up here. And I still am scared for his life…”

Jinx take the flower from Thomas and goes to his desk, where he takes out a thick old book, starting to search something in it. “Can you call your parents, please? I need to talk with them about this situation.” He asked Thomas who nodded his head and got up from his chair with a little restraint. He does not want to leave Mark’s side again, but he got out from Jinx’s office and called his parents.

Meanwhile, Jinx explores the book’s old pages until he finds the chapter that explains what the flower Thomas given him is. Then, after the chef nurse returned in the room, he starts taking out the shards of glass from the boy’s porcelain skin and miss Brook cleaned the wounds. Then both Jinx and miss Brooks stitched up the wounds, so they could heal up nicely.

Outside from that room, Thomas manages to find his mother. She answered him after Thomas tried to find his father, but his mother told him that his dad was in a very important meeting. Something happened last night. In that moment all the alphas of each allied pack had to meet up to talk about the situation and Merlya was with Dalton. After Merlya finished informing her son about why his father could not answer his call, Thomas told her that she needs to come at the hospital in Jinx office because the doctor wants to discuss with them something about Mark.

Merlya told Thomas that she will be there in a minute and ended their call. Thomas went back in Jinx's office and sat down next to Mark’s bed. The nurse has finished cleaning up the blood from Mark’s body and left her alpha with his mate, but not before asking him if he wanted some water, tea, coffee or something to eat. Thomas told her that he doesn't need anything, then took one of Marks hands in his and start kissing it gently. The nurse smiled at that romantic scene but sad scene, then she left the office. Thomas start praying to the Moon Goddess to give his mate back.

After 10 minutes of waiting, his mother comes into the office, breathing heavily. Why? Because Merlya ran all the way from Dalton's meeting back to her pack and directly to the pack's hospital. But she is immediately taken back outside the room by Jinx because he wants to talk to her in particular. Because the young alpha saw his mother being taken out so sudden, the curiosity begins to eat Thomas from inside. So he goes to the door and starts listening to their conversation.

“Merlya, we have to do something immediately. If Thomas won’t accept Mark as his mate, he will die in the next few months. Maybe even weeks. I don't know how long I can keep him alive, my dear luna.” He could hear the doctor saying something that broke his heart. “What do you mean?! What do you mean by that Jinx?!” The luna start crying. “The flower that Thomas gave me is a combination of the flower of sadness, the flower of ‘finding the mate’ and the...” Jinx paused for some seconds. He tried to find the best words to tell his luna about the last meaning of the flower, but either way it wasn’t something good. His luna begged him to tell her what the las meaning of the flower was. But what Jinx told her made Merlya went pale as a ghost.

“…And the flower death my…” were the words Jinx forced himself to say. “His time to go back to the Moon Goddess can come sooner than we wish because of the rejection. Alpha Shing's book has all the flowers shapes, colors and feelings meaning detailed written there. If Mark doesn't wake up in the next 2 months... I will have to declare him dead…” After those words, the monitor that checks Marks pulse starts making a very sharp sound that means Mark’s heart was beating faster than it should be. Thomas panicked and run to Mark's bed started screaming his name, tears running on his face. After some seconds the beeping got lower and Thomas smiled. “Thank you... Thank you so much for not taking away my mate away from me...” He kisses Mark's hand and start speaking with him, even if the younger boy couldn’t hear him. “Mark I know I was a big idiot, but please... Wake up... I accept you back as my mate. I... I just don't want to see you dying. Something inside me doesn't want you to die. So please... Open your beautiful light blue eyes... I beg you.”

Jinx walks into the office, not knowing what was happening. He and Merlya just heard Thomas's screams and ran back in the room, but when he sees the monitor showing a normal pulse and Thomas kissing Mark's hand and smiling, Jinx and Merlya realize that Thomas accepted Mark as his mate. Merlya goes to his son and takes him in her arms. “Please take care of him, son.” She smiles with tears in her eyes. “I will not abound him. I don't want to be the cause of his death. I want to be the cause of his happiness. At least that's what my heart is talling me.” He smiled back at his mother, but made Jinx realize something. “You heard the conversation, right?” Thomas nodded at the doctor. “And what was with that scream?”

Thomas explained that the monitor started to show a very fast pulse and he got scared, but after some seconds the beeping stop and the monitor showed a normal pulse. “And after I heard you saying that, I thought hard about it. But I chose to follow my heart and Hyperion's instincts. I don't want to see Mark dying. I don't want to see the triple alone in this world without their brother. They lost their parents when they were born. I don't want to take their brother away from them. And I surely don't want to make Mark lose his life. He still has so much to live for. I want to fill every day of his life with happiness. I want him to be part of our pack, to be part of our family.” He made a short pause and look at Mark's beautiful pale face, then he told them that he wants Mark to be a part of his life and that he wants to be part of his mate’s life.

He made Merlya so emotional that she start crying for so much joy. “I'm so proud of you my son!” But before she could hug her son again they heard how the door is slammed by the wall, making everyone in the room jump surprised. “What the... Dante!” “S-Sorry for the waiting... Thoe told me to come after you. He also told me that he will call me after the meeting is over to tell me what they discussed.” He closed the door while trying to breathe normally. “How is Mark doctor?” “Not very well my alpha, but his heart is good now. And we hope he'll wake up soon.”

Dalton look at his son and Thomas gives him a sad but happy expression and turns his attention back to Mark. Jinx suggested Thomas to stay with Mark as much as possible. Thomas replies that he won’t leave his mat’s side, even if it means not to train with the others. He will stay next to Mark until he wakes up.

~ the next day ~

The next day, Jinx find Thomas sleeping next to Mark's bed. In order not to wake the young alpha, Jinx makes Mark's tests in silence. Unfortunately for him, the results are as bad as the previous day. At least the heart beats are normal, which is good and gives him a bit of hope that the little omega will continue to live. When he finishes checking Mark, he hears some knocks in the door and Dalton, Oliver, Wilton and Merlya enter his office. They greet Jinx and Dalton put a cup of coffee on his desk.

“Thank you, alpha Dalton, but you didn't need to do that.“ “You and Thomas must take care of your health, so eat well. Don’t start neglecting your health” Merlya told the doctor while she was putting two food trays on Jinx's desk. But on the other hand, Oliver looked at his best friend with a sad face. He still didn't know that Thomas accepted Mark as his mate. He really wants the best for Thomas, as Thomas wants the best for him. The young beta just want to see Thomas happy. After his mother's death, Oliver started doing his best to make everyone happy with small tips and encouraging talks. And every day he needs to do that for his father. Wilton is still suffering after his wife's death. He is trying to be a good father for Oliver, but sometimes Oliver acts more like a parent than him and Wilton is very proud about that part from his son.

“What's the matter son?” Wilton put his hand on his son’s shoulder. “Do you really think Thomas will accept being Mark’s mate and marry him…?” Oliver asked his father, trying not to sound sad. But before Wilton could answer him, Merlya did it in Wilton’s place. “He already accepted him, Oliver. All we have to do now is to wait for Mark to wake up and Thomas to tell Mark that he accepted him as his mate.” She smiled at the young boy, leaving him a little shocked, but in a short time, Oliver start to smile and wished that it will be as his luna told him. “Don't worry Oliver. Thomas is my son after all. I did the same as he did when we were at your age.” “Hahaha! Yes. I was there when that scene happened. And I can't believe that you still have your jaw intact after that palm Merlya given you.” Wilton start laughing and Merlya added that he should not forgot about the knee she given Dalton in his stomach. “Don't remember me... It's still hurt just remembering the scene.” “You deserved it.” Merlya laughed at her husband, making even Oliver to wish he could have seen that. “Don’t worry. If you want, I can show it to you. Your mother was my best friend and she was filming the entire scene.” And with that she took Oliver back at the pack’s house to show him the video, while Wilton and Dalton remained in Jinx office. “I'm really sorry for you my friend.” “Don't mention it...” Dalton told his friend, feeling humiliated by his wife, but still loving her.
