WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!! I'm so excited to be back in this story to give it the proper story progression it deserves! It's been many years since we've been in New Portland, so you may notice a few small discrepancies between the old and new episodes. The Immortals are still the same old gangsters we know and love however, and it's going to be so nice to see them again.

I want to acknowledge everyone who was reading along with the old episodes, and had to deal with the hiatus after issue 2. If you've decided to come back and continue the story, know that I can't express my appreciation enough!! My storytelling, art skills, colour theory, typesetting, and overall conscientiousness have all improved tenfold since we last saw each other, so I hope this new quality of work is enough of a gift to thank you for your return!

For anyone who may still be burned by the hiatus, I'm also really happy to share that I have an entirely new outlook on work and mental health, and I'm better managing any early signs of burnout. I also now have the love and support of the Tapas team behind me, and my editor Tessa has done everything in her power to make sure both me and Rechargeable are looked after! As well as that, the story has undergone a hefty rewrite, cutting everything that drags on and sticking closer to the drama filled plot. This will keep it shorter overall, and get us to our climax faster.

But don't worry, I still want to share intimate character moments whenever I can, even if that means doing Q&As or sharing bonus drawings outside of the actual comic pages.
