School had gone well enough. Mineta was still trying to get with all of the girls. Bakugou was still fighting with some of his classmates and Iida was still trying to get everyone to pay attention. Things didn't go haywire until they all left school in order to do their hero work.
----------
It was odd, no one could exactly place what the enemy's quirk was. some people were turning into animals, others different versions of themselves, until finally it was figured out that the quirk was in fact one that sent it's victims into the past; rather it turned them into a version of themselves from a past life. On the mission to take the enemy down were the towns fastest Pro heroes on call- Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya. however, during the attack, Bakugou knocked Deku out of the way of an oncoming attack, only to be effected by the enemy's quirk. It took a bit longer in order to figure out the enemy quirk. Even then it was too late. Deku screams out "Kacchan" when the other hit him away and got hit by the quirk.
A large explosion would occur, and in the center; a barbaric king. and an angry confused looking one at that. Deku runs over to the barbaric looking version of his friend. "Kacchan are you okay?" He asked his childhood best friend. Another one of the pro heroes was working on a way to neutralize the threat.
Said Barbaric King had been brought here while he had been carrying away his wayward adventurer. Said adventurer was now sitting on the ground confused while looking at a much younger version of the king.
Bakugou blinked, looking around before his attention snapped to the green haired male.. he just kinda stared at the oddly dressed person, before speaking, though his voice seemed gruffer than before, "Who are you, and where am i?" he asked, before taking notice of the fight. something inside of him told him which one was the bad guy and he snarled a bit. "Hey! You! are you the one responsible for bringing me here?"He called out to the one the heroes were fighting.
Deku blinks when the other speaks to him. "My name is Izuku. We are in Japan." He replied back to the other in Japanese. The bad guy turned and looked at the other confused. "I can't understand you. Damn pro-heroes." The enemy replied. Deku moves to help the others since Kirishima was down for the count at the moment as well.
Bakugou glared at he villain before looking at Deku "
"Is he the one responsible for this?" he asked as he looked at the somewhat smaller male. before watching the one in red get knocked down for the count and peoples faces turned worried. " i'm gonna guess so ] And with that he charged the enemy though he didn't miss a beat. in a past life, Bakugou was a barbarian King, a practical War king at that. Relentless, even at a time called a bandit, even a demon among men. He was able to subdue and pin the man without much difficulty after a moment. "Send me home now, or i will kill you."
"Yes his quirk has some kind of time travel aspect." Deku replied. Recovery Girl was going to love them when they returned. He hoped that Kirishima was okay though.
The others watch as the Bakugo in front of them was a bit more ruthless then the Bakugo that they knew. The bad guy looks at the other not answering the hero.
Eventually pro heroes had to pull the barbarian king off the villain in order for him to be taken and questioned. Izuku was the one tasked with holding Bakugo back due to his quirk. Even with that it was still a hard task. They then had to fill out paperwork and go over the villains quirk. He ended up taking notes in interest muttering as he did so.
It was later revealed, after Bakugou was placed in Izuku's care, the true nature of the villains quirk and that'd it'd last for 2 weeks. During this time, Bakugou and Izuku both were given permission of leave from the school with promise of passing grades due to the effect of the quirk; as long as Midoriya took notes. In a way this was an educational time and a historical moment.
When he was told that he and kacchan could leave the school while the quirk ran its course. That had filled him with dread. Sure they were getting along much better now but he wasn't so sure about this version of his childhood friend.
However Bakugou's stare never left the other... As if he were the one studying Deku.. ".... Deku..... deku. "
"yes, Kacchan?" He replied turning to look at the much taller version of his friend.
"your appearance.. Reminds me of a deku tree.." he said with a motion to the others hair. "It was green and poofy like the tops of trees. "
"Well in this time you picked the name Deku because of the characters in my name can also spell out Deku and you said it was because I was useless. Though it is my hero name now because of Urakaka." The green haired male explained.
The king looked at the smaller male with a confused look on his face before he explained,"Trees are strong and rooted. You look the same, somewhat. Covered with your mark." he continued motioning to the face and arms, bringing up Izuku"s quirk.
"The lights is from my quirk. Oh this, it will heal up in a few days. " Deku of course still had the scars from when he had been learning how to use his quirk.
Deku was leading the other to his home. This was going to be fun to explain to his mother. He was also worried about his childhood friend. He didn't know if the current Bakugo was just a soul inhabiting his friends body or if his friend was in the other timeline. He didn't notice that he was muttering as he went through these thoughts.
