End of January.

Birthday greetings came one after another even though I wasn’t all too happy turning a year older, jobless, and … without a degree.

How long has it been since I started this self-help journey?

October. November. December. January.

Four months pass by too quickly.

I liked seeing all my friends though. The journey feels less lonely. It was good talking about the Maison with Joey too. I didn’t know I liked it there until I heard myself.

“Happy birthday, Georgie. What do you want to do?”

Nothing.

“Nothing in particular.”

We ate out, my family, as per usual.

I hung out with my best friends.

We ate. We talked about a portion of each other’s lives.

I danced around the topic of “me” and before I knew it, I was back in France.
