As Karah and Kade continued their sheet of homework, Kade passed Karah a note that said “How has your day been other than this?” Karah giggled and began to write a note to give back to him. Karah passed a note back to Kade “Great, how about you?” Kade smiled. “Great, how long have you gone to this school?” Karah began to write “Since kindergarten, where did you go before you came here?” Kade giggled “I’ve been here since kindergarten.” Karah felt stupid “Wow, I’m sorry I never knew that.” Kade shrugged “It’s okay, everyone says that.” The school bell rang and lunch was over. Ashley stood up and put her book back. They then walked back to class together. Ashley saw them walking together on her way to check on Karah, Ashley didn’t know why but she was jealous. Karah was very surprised, this was her first friend other than Ashley. Kade walked back to his class. Karah watched as Kade walked down the hall, she felt relieved. She smiled and walked into her class. After school, Karah went to go find Ashley. Kade stopped Karah and asked if he could walk with her. Karah said, “Okay but, I have to find my friend.” Kade smiled “Okay, let's go.” They continued looking for Ashley. Ashley was at her locker wondering why Kade and Karah were walking together. Ashley turned around and saw them walking together, AGAIN she thought. She grabbed her backpack, slammed her locker, and ran out the school door. Karah and Kade continued down the hallway, “Where is she?” Karah got worried. Kade scanned the hallway “I don’t see her.” Karah continued looking for Ashley, Ashley was on her way home. Kade walked with Karah, Karah asked Kade “Have you seen her today.” Kaid looked at the floor “no” Karah was scared. Karah started to walk home with Kade.
