“Wonderful,” Suzu swore Hoshi was practically purring as he spoke, “so first off, you’ll be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of ¥1,250,000*. Basically, half of the overall payment. At the end of our contracted days, you’ll then be required to pay the remaining balance lest you’re unhappy with the experience. However, if you are completely satisfied—which I do guarantee—you can include a tip, though it’s not required nor expected, just very much appreciated. Details regarding an unsatisfactory experience or any other possible issues will be specified in the contract along with all rules and expectations of treatments of me, plus additional information and paperwork we require from you. Did you follow all of that or should I repeat anything?”

It was admittedly overwhelming; this was way more intense than he had expected but he was already this far in so…

“Yes! Makes um, total sense.”

Ok, it was probably very obvious how nervous and a little lost he actually was.

“Don’t worry Yuudai-san, everything will go smoothly so you shouldn’t have to worry about any of the details. Now then, I need to know a few things from you. First and foremost: are we looking to make an ex jealous, shut up a relative, or prove a point? This is crucial as I have an outfit for each occasion.”

Suzu blinked. He had not anticipated this kind of questioning.

“It’s um, it’s just a friend’s wedding.”

“So, you don’t need to impress anyone or make a statement or anything?” Hoshi pauses for a moment, “You do realize my rates are some of the highest on the site, right?”

“Yeah I know it’s just a whole, complicated situation. My friend, the one getting married, has threatened to set me up with someone if I show up alone so there’s an ulterior motive, I guess.”

Hoshi clicked his tongue, “Ah, ok that makes a bit more sense. I can certainly work with that. Next question: do you prefer boy style or girl style?”

Suzu furrowed his brows. What was with these questions?

“I’m sorry, what do you mean?”

There was a soft sigh from the other line, “How would you like me to dress, Yuudai-san?”

“Um, however, you’d like?” Suzu responded as if that was the most obvious answer.

After all, to him it was obvious.

What do you do when your best friend/ex-boyfriend expects you to show up to his wedding with a date? Well, if you're Suzu Yuudai you mostly panic and assume there are only three options: call an ex (ugh), wait to see who your friend sets you up with (nope), or hire someone. But, he's not so desperate to buy a boyfriend... right?

Or: Kit takes a cliche trope but makes it gay.
