That day, Asteria believed she was going to have a normal first day, a good day in general, but instead it was one of the worst ones yet. Asteria was getting ready into her new outfit she got with Vita when they went to the shopping district. Speaking of Vita, she was sending Asteria several messages about her having to be on time and that Florian would be walking her to school. Asteria loved the idea that Florian wanted to walk her to school on his own and she was excited to see him.

As she recalled Vita telling her the good news, she grew nervous. She had to check that she looked mouth watering sexy for Florian. Asteria walked over to her mirror which stood against the wall and placed her hair into a messy bun. She then stood there to admire herself altogether. She was wearing a brown dress that had drawstring knots on the bottom with sleeves. It was a perfect fit as she moved in front of the mirror adoring her figure in the dress. On her feet she wore black heeled sandals and her usual necklace, makeup, and bracelets. 

Asteria grabbed hold of her necklace and she turned it around to show the letter "J" on it. She gave that side of the necklace a kiss and then she grabbed her school bag and headed to the door. Before she could open it she heard a voice. She turned to face a man standing there suddenly telling her...

"You look beautiful honey," said the man with a smile.

Asteria smiled back, "Thanks dad." She said as she left and but as the door closed it revealed that Asteria's father was gone.

Asteria could hear voices as she walked down the stairs. When she could see who they were, she let out a frustrated sigh. She glanced over to see her mother talking to Florian as she caressed his muscles in the living room. Asteria stomped over and pulled her mother away.

"I made you breakfast earlier so go eat it and please clean after yourself," said Asteria as she kept her mother hostage beside her to keep her away from Florian.

"I already finished eating and cleaning. I was about to head out to start my car so I could go to work," her mother explained as a fiery Asteria continued to hold her back.

"Then stop bothering him and do that..." added Asteria until Florian started talking.

"Its alright Asteria, you mother was asking me how I got like this and then asked to see and feel. I had no problem showing her. Do you want a feel too?" said Florian as he stretched his arm out in front of Asteria revealing his veins and toned arm.

Asteria looked prepared to faint but she brushed it off and pushed her mother away before she could touch Florian again. She grabbed Florian by the arm and dragged him along with her to the door. Asteria said her "goodbyes" to her mother and Florian did as well. Asteria's mother observed them as they left the house.

"She sure knows how to pick them," said her mother as she went toward the kitchen as she nodded her head relieved that her daughter had great taste.

Asteria and Florian were walking to school but and Florian was also giving Asteria a quick run down of the neighborhood she lived in. The people were kind as Asteria said before but Vita was right about them being wary of them and still worried if Asteria and her mother could be trusted or not.

"It's normal in a town like this. You get new people to move in and you hope they aren't serial killers," joked Florian resulting in Asteria laughing.

As Florian continued on, Asteria examined his body with her eyes. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt, his usual wristband, black sweat pants, and some very expensive looking Air Jordan 1's along with his leather red school bag. Asteria knew immediately that Florian was possibly a sneaker head because he was wearing a different pair when they were walking back from the lake the other day. Asteria liked the idea that he didn't dress to impress but dressed to be comfortable.

"I like your shoes. I always wanted those but I couldn't afford them," said Asteria as she blushed at Florian.

"These are just part of the collection! One of these days I will show you that collection and Vita and I have a friend who likes these type of shoes as well and we love to compete at who has the better collection," said Florian to Asteria.

"Is this friend the one Vita wants me to meet so badly?"

"Yes. Her name is..." Florian tried to finish but some car drove by and honked his horn so loud that Asteria couldn't hear him.

"I'm sorry I couldn't hear her name," claimed Asteria not that interested in her name anyways as she stared at Florian as if she was in a trance.

"No worries. We will see her in a bit so you will learn her name then," said Florian. 

They finally arrived at the school. Florian and Asteria stopped at the entrance to allow Asteria to admire the scenery. She looked at all of the students and as she figured, they looked like snotty rich kids with amazing style. She looked over her outfit and Florian noticed and moved his face close to hers.

"I think you look great," whispered Florian.

Asteria grew red as Asteria heard her name being called. They both looked to see Vita running over. Vita was wearing a bright yellow dress that went well with her very bright smile. She ran into Asteria's arms surprising her but Asteria hugged her back. Vita told her that she missed her and she was glad to see her. Florian told Vita to stop being clingy and Vita called him a "shit head". Vita then put her arm around Asteria's shoulders and grabbed Florian's hand and started walking up the path to the school doors. As they walked people stared admiring them, falling for them, or out of curiosity because of Asteria. She was the new girl and she was definitely making a huge impression. 

A group of girls watched her intensely as Florian was speaking to her. Asteria noticed them and she could feel the girl in the middle eyes peering into her mind as if she was trying to learn who she was by brutal force. The girl was wearing a two piece outfit which was checkered with black heels and a tattoo on her arm. Her black eyes were what made Asteria uncomfortable but Asteria soon found out that wasn't all she was going to see. As they continued to walk, Florian turned to the side as he seemed to hear someone nearby. He looked and yelled out "Rilynn".

Asteria instantly stopped as she tried to realize why that name sounded familiar to her. As she tried to figure it out, Florian left them and Vita tried to gain Asteria's attention. Asteria who was still focused on knowing why she knew that name didn't realize that Rilynn was already standing in front of her. Asteria looked at Rilynn who had her hands in her pockets with her head bent down toward Asteria's face.

Rilynn was dressed entirely different than the other night. She had her hair down but some of it in the back was in a small ponytail, she was wearing a over sized graphic t-shirt, cargo pants, and combat boots. She stood in front of a shocked Asteria as she took her hand out of her pocket revealing a couple of fingers painted black.

Rilynn tapped Asteria's nose with her finger as Asteria recalled a memory of when they were little when Rilynn tapped her nose with her finger back then to annoy her. Asteria's face turned into a frown. Rilynn pulled her hand away and stood up straight showing a pretty good height difference between the two of them. 

"Its been a long time Asteria..." said Rilynn but she was interrupted when Asteria grabbed hold of Rilynn's shirt and pulled her back down to her.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Asteria questioned an amused Rilynn.

"I see you haven't changed," said Rilynn as she silently choked as an annoyed Asteria gripped slightly harder because of her remark.

Vita and Florian were just as confused as the other students were of Asteria's sudden change of behavior toward Rilynn after first meeting her. Vita then burst out laughing suddenly causing the three of them to face her. Vita stopped laughing and pointed at both Asteria and Rilynn.

"Now I know why you was acting strange when I told you her name, Rilynn, it's obvious that you two used to date and you didn't want to see her," said Vita confident in what she was saying.

Asteria then pushed Rilynn away making Rilynn fall to the ground, "Not a chance in hell." She said as she walked to the doors of the school.

Vita went after Asteria as Florian helped up a chuckling Rilynn. Florian tried to understand why she was laughing and how they knew each other but Rilynn didn't say. Asteria looked back at Rilynn and Rilynn looked at her as she did. Rilynn smirked at her causing Asteria to look away as Rilynn told Florian that he would find out later. They then followed the girls and other students into the school as the bell rung. As they headed in, Rilynn stared at Asteria as she talked with Vita not taking her eyes off her the entire time.
