Read The witch's heart :: Chapter 3

The hotel was huge on the inside. Scarlett looked in and out of the building and did it for a couple of times until she could wrap her head around the difference of size in inside and outside of the hotel. The interior of the hotel told a different story from the exterior.The exterior was old fashioned and old in general , while the interior looked like a castle . With infinite rooms.

A red carpet extended to a huge staircase which was in the middle of the hall. Scarlett looked up to the sealing and all she could see was never ending floors with rooms.

"How may I help you,miss?",a staff lady asked Scarlett , seemed to be in her fifties, long , lean wearing a black kimono.

"Oh , we are looking for a-"

"Room", the witch screamed before Scarlett could finish her sentence.

"We are looking for a room to stay for a few days, mind if you could escort us to the room 1312 "the witch said to the lady.

"Oh with pleasure, please follow me."

The lady walked in front of the witch and Scarlett and they followed her silently. The hotel was very beautiful but you could barely see any people except the staff .

When they reached the room the witch said,"Thank you we will call you when in need." and locked the door .

"You won't ask why we are here?",she asked Scarlett.

"I don't find the need to , you know, I don't feel curious at all", she replied with no expressions on her face.

"Oh my child", the witch said with a broken voice "it's okay I will fix you"and hugged her .

"But I am not broken", Scarlett said .

"Yes, yes you are not..... " ,with a pause not breaking the hug , the witch said ,".....seeing you like this , I am the one who is breaking".
