Read The witch's heart :: Chapter 5

"hey I was not going to hurt you, you black cat", she screamed to the cat , but it was gone. She stood there in silence , until she heard some people laugh . The sound seemed to come from the forest .The laughs were pretty loud so it didn't seem to be very far . She started to walk in the direction of sound . Saw a small cottage and without hesitation (*as if she feels any*) she knocked on the door. After a few knocks,someone came out ,it was Baku .

"Baku?", Scarlett looked at him.

"Oh my , miss what are you doing here!!! it's so cold outside you should be in your room!!"

"Well I was not feeling sleepy so I decided to take a walk."

Another lady walked out annoyed, "Baku who is it ?", She looked at Scarlett and change her tone to a softer one ,"miss Scarlett what are you doing here, look at the time!! It's freezing outside!!"

"That is what I was asking her." Baku said to the lady with an irritated expression.

"Idiot , you should have asked her to come in , look at her she is not even wearing something warm." The lady touched Scarlett's hand "miss you are cold as ice , quick , come inside , or else you'll get sick."the lady dragged her inside.

"What is with her?"Baku said still standing at the door.
