Buta ,Mary and Oru were already in the kitchen working. Andy was there eating because he was bored. And Scarlett was there because of Andy. 

"Good morning", everyone greeted except Scarlett she just gazed at him.

Vaekal jumped in the kitchen , taking a loaf bread which was on the table next to the window.

He looked at Scarlett and said,"Scarlett do you not like me?"

Everyone looked at him shocked.

"No",she said.

"Then why are you so cold to me , it's like you never smile at me?"

"She smiles only at me Vaekal" , the little one said.

"Hey that was only once , but why no meeeeee?"

"Well I am not supposed to tell you", Scarlett said.

"Why?"

"Because my mom said so."

As she uttered these words none said anything and went back to what they were doing. Vaekal went silent and looked at her with pity eyes.

"Can I borrow you for some time ?", Vaekal asked Scarlett , and leaned his hand so she would take it.

"Ok", she said but ignored the hand.

He took he to the very top of the building . All you could see from there was forest and a beautiful sky . 

The sky was dark and cloudy. The trees were green and long and misty.Cool wind was blowing through them.

"Isn't it beautiful?!!", Vaekal said .

Scarlett looked at him and then look at the scenery.

"Yes",she said .

"It's cold here", Vaekal said rubbing his hands.

"Is it?"

"You don't feel cold too??! "

"Yes I-", before she could say anything else her head started spining and everything became blur 

"Are you okay?!"

Vaekal tried to help her out , he held her by her arm and turned to see her face properly , her eyes ,the veins on her arm turned black . It was as if like her blood was turning black .

Vaekal rush her the witch. He felt she was the only one who knew what was going on with her.

The witch was in her room, as the door opened she saw Scarlett 

"Scarlett!",she exclaimed.

She and Vaekal laid her down on the bed. 

"Oh no no this can't be. " She said , touching Scarlett's face softly by the chin.

"I am so sorry child”, she whispered as she laid her head on her chest and felt nothing inside.

"Get out and close the door!!" , She exclaimed to Vaekal and hurried to her suitcase.
