She gulps and tries to run but just as she was about to do so, Leia grabbed her wrist.

"Where to, huh?" She smirked transforming her nerdy attitude into a sinister one.

Valencia smiled internally, remembering that she too, got jealous easily. This trick always succeeded in getting her attention off her literature books, and towards them.

"Look who finally decided to join in on the conversation," she says teasingly," Got tired of your books already?", she asks while raising an eyebrow.

"You and I both know that this will never happen." she says while showing her elegant smile.

'You're so beautiful,' she thought, 'If only I could as beautiful, quiet and calm as you,' she thought as she sighed lightly, but that did not go un-noticed by her peers.

"What is it Val?" Leia asks her worriedly, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.

She was about to answer with a 'nothing' when Ayden entered the room.

"She's just missing me that's all" he says with a wide grin on his face.

"Of course, I was." She goes and hugs him tightly, almost chocking him. That was when he knew he messed up.

"You're late. You know, that right? " Leia butts in.

"Traffic?" he says embarrassed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You live a stone's throw away," Alec says with a blank face. " How can there be any traffic between two adjacent houses?"

"Yeah, you could've just come from the balcony like you usually do." Valencia continues, holding on to him, and crushing him even harder than before.

"Come on! Not you too, Valencia?" he says whining. "And Ow! That hurts!"

"You deserve it." She simply states.

"Do you have any idea of how much I had to suffer in the meantime?"

"Wait a minute...don't tell me, Again?!" Ayden groans. " It's like the 5th time this month!"

"Yes....exactly my point. He just won't let me be."

"Alec," Ayden continues, " I know you like Valencia but that still doesn't mean you should do this to her." He says teasing him.

"Why don't you just leave my poor Val alone?" he says, giving him his signature smile.

Valencia took the hint and pouted innocently.

"Yeah, what have I ever done to you?" She says.

"Going for the innocent act now?" He says.

"Let me think," he says, pretending to be deep in thought. "Oh yeah! I remember now!" He says abruptly.

"You go around laughing and smiling in front of every other guy, and then you expect them to not to feel a thing. Do you have no idea how hard it is to clean up after your mess every time?"

"If that were the case, and someone did like me, then I'd already have a boyfriend!" she says pouting, "But look at me, I'm all alone, " she fakes a sob.

"What mess?" Leia asks. She had great observation skills and always managed to pick up the tininess of the details.

'Shit' Alec mumbled under his breath, of course they didn't know.
