Water.
I need water.
I am so thirsty, I could die.
Walking across the desert of sand and sun. My feet were scorched and burned. My body screaming at me, to lay down and take a sun nap.
I couldn’t.
The sun was at the highest, the worst of times. I had to move on.
I took a few steps forward before my legs gave out and I tumbled to the ground. I would have to pull my body across the desert with only my arms.
“Give up” A voice said in my head.
So I lay my head down, thinking, this is how I die?
Then a shadow moved over me. Eclipsing the sun. Something grabbed me who had grabbed me? Then I knew,
I never felt safer than in the arms of a murderer.
