Chapter name: Decisions!

1st person change! Zetsu's POV

"It seems like it worked." I said, as I went over the table in the middle of the living room. It had a note on it. "There is miso soup in the fridge warm it up when you are hungry, dad". I went over to the fridge to take the miso soup out of it, then went over to the kitchen. I opened a kitchen cabinet and took a small pan out of it. After that I poured the soup into the pan, next I went over to the stove to light up the fire. I put the pan on the stove and walked back to the kitchen table, as I wait for my food to finish cooking.

"It should only take 5 minutes, might as well check my phone." The time is 5:10 PM and I got 3 messages from Kuji. I opened LINE and looked at the messages.

Kuji: Dude you there? 4:02 PM

Kuji: Hey! Are you ignoring me! 4:18 PM

Kuji: Don't tell me that you are having a long a** fa***** session over there! 4:36 PM

I laughed a the last message and responded back.

Zetsu: Sorry I had to do something real quick. 5:12 PM

Kuji: Do something real quick huh? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 5:12 PM

Zetsu: Dude please stop. 5:13 PM

Kuji: XD 5:13 PM

Kuji: Anyway meet me tomorrow at 9:00 PM at Shibuya Station. 5:14 PM

Zetsu: Alright I'll be there at 9. 5:14 PM

Kuji: Good. OH! And did you read the new issue of Battle no Hikari? 5:15 PM

Zetsu: Wait a bit my miso soup is done. 5:15 PM

Kuji: Okie. 5:15 PM

I left the phone on the kitchen table and went over to the kitchen cabinet to take out a bowl, then I picked up the pan and pour the soup into the bowl after that, while I was holding the bowl, I took a spoon and went back to the kitchen table and start eating the soup.

"Ah it tastes good."

"My dad always works hard for me, that is why i get to live in such a cool apartment as this one. I wish I could see him more, but he is always busy with his work."

"Mom if you are listening up there I hope you are proud of dad." I smiled slightly.

*After Zetsu ate the soup, he cleaned the kitchen, proceeded to talk with Kuji until late, went to take a shower and then went to his room to sleep*

*Zetsu seems to be having a dream*

"Where am I?" I look around, but all I see is white space. I can't even see the ground as for it has the same colour as well. "Hello!" I shouted.

??: Hi.

Wait an other person appeared?! I can't see him clear enough. "Introduce yourself!"

??: Who me?

"What are there more people here?" I said in a sarcastic tone.

??: Alright.

"Wait he looks exactly like me!"

3rd person switch!

An other version of himself created by Zetsu subconscious.

Dream Zetsu!

Dream Zetsu: Don't forget the Nozomu part.

Nozomu!

Dream Zetsu: That's better! But just call me Detsu!

Zetsu: *confused face* I am really confused here.

Detsu: How so?

Zetsu: *confused face* I mean why are you here? What do you want?

Dream Zetsu: I am here because your brain wants me to. Listen I just want to talk. Is that fine with you?

Zetsu: Sure I really don't have anything else to do anyway.

Detsu: You don't know what to do. Correct?

Zetsu: Yeah. It's just.... Why should I involve myself in matters that I can stay away from?

Detsu: Then my next question is. Why even learn magic if you can just stay away from it huh?

Zetsu: Because it's cool dude. Duh!

Detsu: *dry face* Really once you have learned magic there will always be consequences that follow. Anyway I don't care about that. I remembered Kettei saying something about that "city being destroyed 5 years ago by Ishakai?"

Zetsu: Yeah.

Detsu: It can't be a coincidence that the "Shibuya Incident" also happened 5 years ago.

Zetsu: Tsk I did not think of that. *sad face* If we only stoped mom from heading outside to buy groceries she wouldn't have....... *gets interrupted*

Detsu: You, I and Dad didn't know that something like that was going to happen.

Zetsu: *clenches his fist* True!

Detsu: So it is possible that Ishakai caused the explosion in Shibuya. Besides you need a reason why to help both worlds. So why not take rev.... *gets interrupted*

Zetsu: *angry face* You want me to take revenge on them! HOW SHALLOW! I AM NOT LIKE THAT!

*Zetsu grabbed Dream Zetsu by the collar of his shirt*

Detsu: *surprised face* Hey! Calm down!

Zetsu: *starts crying* I.... I just don't even know where I stand. All of this is weighting heavy on me. Can I not just be neutral and do nothing?

*Zetsu lets go Dream Zetsu shirt*

Detsu: Being neutral is not the answer, but there is something on my mind. How we are supposed to carry the fate of the world? I know it is much, but it doesn't mean that we can run from it ether right? So must we learn how to live with it?

Zetsu: *wipes his tiers* No I don't want to live with that besides, the life I had before all this wasn't that bad ether. Maybe I should not return there tomorrow and keep on living how I always had done.

Detsu: *serious face* *starts moving his head and arms like crazy* Don't lie to me! Kuji is the notable friend you talk to. Mom is dead and we almost never see Dad. You clearly don't like middle school and you are just wasting time by lazing around most of the time!

Zetsu: *irritated face* Shut up!

Detsu: Now you want me to stop talking because you know I am right? You are just running away from responsibility! Afraid to try something new! Afraid to be useful!

Zetsu: Shut it!

Detsu: You are clearly not happy, but always joking around as if everything is alright! Tell me! What do you even see in this boring world?! *stoped moving his body around like crazy*

Zetsu: *tiers came from his eyes again* I said SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

*Zetsu runs straight at Detsu with the intention to fight*

Detsu: Our conversation today is over!

*Just before Zetsu was going to land a hit on Detsu he said something*

Detsu: End Dream!

Next day

I woke up grasping for air. "What a weird dream."

My alarm on my my phone went off. It is 7:30 PM. I turned off the alarm of my phone then, I walked over to my closet and picked the most cool looking clothes i could find, which sadly is just a simple blue polo and some decent black jeans, after I took my shower, did my usual procedures and put on my clothes, as I walked over to the huge mirror in my room.

I inspect myself. My black hair is bushy with a few spikes, my brown eyes seem a bit tired and my pale skin, which in my opinion goes well with the hair. "I am pretty slim huh?" Anyway the clothes look decent on me. "Time to head out!" I almost forgot my wallet, but I remembered it, just as I was about to leave the apartment. "Phew" I said as I was heading outside.

3rd person switch!

*Zetsu arrived at the station after a walk of 20 minutes*

*Kuji calls out to him*

Kuji: YO ZETSU!

*Zetsu walked over to Kuji*

Zetsu: Yo! Uhhh aren't you a little early?

Kuji: Yep just like you. *smiles* Now.... shall we go?

Zetsu: Sure.

*After a walk of 10 minutes they arrived at the Tsumeawase Mall*

*Its a big white building with multiple floors surrounded by cherry blossom trees*

Kuji: The size of the mall always amazes me. *smiles*

Zetsu: *smiled back*

*The both of them entered the mall. It was a very open space with different kind of stores within the middle of the floor, a moving staircase and at the back of the first floor a elevator*

Kuji: So what should we do first?

Zetsu: *stomach growls* How about grabbing something eat? Because I am starving.

Kuji: Okie let me look at the floor map. *takes out his phone*

Zetsu: Why search on your phone when there is literally a map at the left of us?

Kuji: Oh i didn't see it.

*Both of them went over to the floor map*

Kuji: Uhhhh wait this floor is for electronics.

Zetsu: Then what is the floor for food?

Kuji: *looks at the floor map* It is........ the 3rd floor. Okay let's just take the elevator.

Zetsu: Okay.

*They walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to open the door*

Kuji: Ladies first!

Zetsu: *dry face* When did you find out that I was a woman before?

Kuji: *confused face* Wait what? My brain.exe is not working.

Zetsu: *laughs* Never mind just go in the elevator already.

*They went in the elevator and pressed 3F*

*The elevator took them up to 3F and opened the door*

Kuji: Alright lets go!

Zetsu: Finally food!

*They left the elevator*

*They walked in a very spacious food court with in middle, places to sit, at the sides of the place all the restaurants and stands were located*

*There were various types of food to choose from*

Kuji: What are going to get?

Zetsu: Wait I am going to scan real quick *starts to look around* American fastfood no! Meat no! Udon no! Street food yes! STREET FOOD!

Kuji: its like... *checks time on phone* 8:15. Why don't you go ahead and eat something decent?

Zetsu: Nope! *walks over to the street food service counter*

Kuji: *dry face* Oh well time to get some udon then. *walks over to the Udon service counter*

Zetsu: Hello!

Vendor: Hi welcome to Yatai what would you like to order?

Zetsu: *looks at the menu displayed above the vendor* Alright..... Uhhhhh. Give me some takoyaki please!

Vendor: Alright coming right up!

*Zetsu waited for a bit*

*The vendor went to make the takoyaki and served it on a tray*

Vendor: Here you go! that's 1500 Yen!

Zetsu: *gives 1600 yen* Keep the change. *received the food*

Vendor: Thank you come again!

*Kuji shouts at Zetsu, as he was sitting at a table already with his food*

Zetsu: *walks over to Kuji and takes a seat in front of him* What did you get?

Kuji: Beef udon. *looks at his tray* Takoyaki seriously?

Zetsu: Hey it tastes good dude. Don't complain. *laughs*

*As Kuji starts to talk about all the manga he read yesterday, Zetsu seems to stair at his food*

Kuji: Earth to Zetsu! Hello!

Zetsu: *snaps out of trance* Huh?

Kuji: You don't seem that good. Is something the matter?

Zetsu: No not really, but... tell me something Kuji. What would you do if I suddenly disappeared?

Kuji: What are you switching schools or something? Of course that wouldn't be a problem. I would come and visit you regularly. We are best friends I'll will never leave your side, even if you wanted to. *laughs*

Zetsu: *smiles* Thanks!

*suddenly a girl pasted by and looked at Kuji*

Girl: Kuji?

Kuji: Woah! Ria how are you?

Zetsu: Oh yeah we are in different classes now sometimes I seem to forget that.

Ria: *looks at Zetsu* And who is this?

Kuji: That is my best mate Zetsu.

Zetsu: *flattered face* Hey don't say that. *gives Kuji a soft punch*

Kuji: *laughs*

Ria: Nice to meet you Zetsu.

Zetsu: Likewise.

*It seems that someone is running over here*

??: Hey Ria why are you always moving so fast!

Ria: Oops sorry Taka! I though you were walking behind me. *Bonks her fist to the head of her head*

?? = Taka

Taka: *dry face* Maybe you should behind you ones in a while Ria.*surprised face* Hey Kuji whats up man!

Kuji: Nothing crazy, as you can see I am eating with a friend.

Taka: *turns to Zetsu* Yo I am Taka and who are you my bro?

Zetsu: I am Zetsu. Nice to meet you.

Taka: *holds out his fist*

Zetsu: *fistbumps Taka*

Kuji: So.... What are you guys going to do?

Ria: Oh we were just done eating and now we are going to hit the arcade downstairs.

Taka: Hey! If you guys want, you can join us!

Kuji: *looks at Zetsu*

Zetsu: Sure but I want to eat my food first so wait a little bit.

Taka: No worries we'll meet you downstairs at the arcade.

Ria: Alright lets go!

*Taka and Ria left to go to the arcade a floor below *

*After Zetsu and Kuji were done eating and returned their trays, they went down a floor, joining Ria and Taka*

Taka: Well that took long enough!

*All of them where standing before the arcade*

Kuji: Uhhh why are we waiting?

Ria: Uh I don't know.

Zetsu: *dry face* Start moving then.

*They entered the arcade*

*The arcade was decent in size and was well organised at the left side there are crane games and a photo booth, at the left side of the arcade were all the the different types of games like, fighting, racing, rhythm and shooting*

Taka: Okay we should first buy some coins. Everyone got enough change?

*Everyone nods*

*After they bought some coins. they played many games together, which made the time go faster, as they had a lot of fun*

*After a while they decided to have a small break*

Ria: My eyes are burning!

Kuji: Same here.

Zetsu: *tired face* I think we bit overboard.

*Taka was focusing on something else*

Taka: *sees the photo booth* Hey!

*Everyone looked at Taka*

Ria: Yeah?

Taka: Why don't we make some pictures together that would be fun!

Zetsu: I am not against that idea.

Kuji: Then let's do it!

*Everyone headed to the photo booth*

*The whole group made pictures together*

Ria: *takes the pictures out of the booth* *starting laughing*

Taka: Hey pass some photos over here. *receives some photo form Lia* We look so stupid *laughs*

*Zetsu and Kuji went to Taka to check some of the photos*

Zetsu: These photos are a work of art. *smirks*

Kuji: I agree. *chuckles* Yo Zetsu?

Taka: I agree with you agreeing. *laughs*

Kuji: Yo Zetsu?

Zetsu: Yeah

Kuji: Do you want to make a picture just the 2 of us?

Zetsu: Sure bro!

Taka: What about me?

Kuji: *annoyed face* Don't you see we are having a bro moment! Just wait okay.

Taka: *sad face* I am going over to Ria then. *fake sniff*

*They went back in the photo booth making one more picture*

Kuji: *Takes the picture out of the booth* Here! *gives a picture to Zetsu* I made 2 big ones so...

Zetsu: *smiles* Thanks.

*Taka went to Zetsu and Kuji to give the rest of the pictures the group made together.

Ria: Okay I want to play some more! I haven't touch that racing game yet!

Zetsu: Wait iIgot to check the time! *pulls out his phone form his pocket and checks time* 1:30 PM which means i got 2 hours left to make my decision.

Zetsu: Guys!

*Everyone looked at Zetsu*

Zetsu: Something urgent came up so I have to leave.

Taka: Oh okay. Wait dude! Let's exchange LINE contacts.

Ria: Hey don't forget about me!

*Zetsu exchanged LINE contacts with Taka and Ria*

Zetsu: So what are you guys going to do now?

Kuji: Continue playing some games.

Ria: Yeah!

Zetsu: Okay I am going now.

Taka: Take care!

Kuji: I'll text you when i get home!
