Chapter name: Getting a mana core!

*Zetsu teleported to the destroyed city*

Zetsu: *closes the portal behind him* *looks around* Ah I remember that skyscraper is if it was yesterday.

Zetsu: Wait that was yesterday. *face palm*

*3 people are walking around the area. The group consists out of 2 girls and a guy*

Zetsu: *sees them* Wait who are they? I'll better hide since I got no magic! They might be bad guys after all!

*Zetsu quickly ran behind the destroyed skyscraper*

Girl 1: Did you hear that? *looks at the skyscraper*

Girl 2: No....

Guy: I don't sense any magic power, so I think you are being a little paranoid here.

Girl 1: Shut up before I smack you!

Girl 2: Calm down girl jeez! I don't sense anything here as well.

Girl 1: *Calmed down* I guess you are right then. Sorry for being so aggressive.

Guy: No worries.

Girl 2: Good that we found a "Ultimate scroll" today.

Guy: Too bad it's an Ice one. We don't have the Ice element, so we can't use it.

Zetsu: Weird, could it be that Koshi learned the crazy attack of yesterday by one of these scrolls?

Girl 1: But we can sell for a lot of money!

Girl 2: Yeah that is true. We just split the cash in 3.

Guy: Fine by me. *relieved sigh* Now I can finally pay my College money.

Girl 2: With my share I am just going to buy a "MIM"

Girl 1: Okay enough talk. Let's go back to "Nyoto" and sell that thing already.

Guy & Girl 2: Right!

*They all use an enhancement spell and ran off at a very high speed*

Zetsu: *phew* They are finally gone. *Walks back to the front of the skyscraper*

Zetsu: *checks time on phone* 3:31 PM

Zetsu: Where is Kettei anyway?

*Someone jumps of the destroyed building and stands right before Zetsu*

Zetsu: *shocked face* Oh crap! *dry face* Wait Kettei.

Kettei: How are you doing Zetsu?

Zetsu: You scared the hell out of me! Please don't jump off that building again.

Kettei: *laughs* Sorry sorry. Anyway are you ready for today?

Zetsu: Uhh... yes?

Kettei: Great, then let's go.

Zetsu: Wait! Before we going I would like to ask something.

Kettei: Um okay ask away.

Zetsu: Do you know who "Shin Hato" is?

Kettei: Yeah I know him dimension hopper from your world and works together with the Japanese authorities. He hates my guts for sure *laughs*. *questioning face* So why are asking me this?

Zetsu: Because he pretty much threatened me the other day that if I don't learn magic. He was going to kill me.

Kettei: PFFT *laughs* Listen dude Shin is weird guy with 2 faces. He probably wants to give you a reason for being here in the first place. He won't harm you, unless you become evil of course because then you're done for.

Zetsu: Oh. Heh nice to know.

Kettei: Okay you ready now?

Zetsu: Yes.

Kettei: Okay we won't be staying here because we will be heading to a mana hotspot.

Zetsu: Mana hotspot?

Kettei: *sigh* Seems like I have some explaining to do.

Zetsu: Sorry for being curious jeez.

Kettei: 1,2,3 here I go. A few hundred years ago mana was unevenly scattered around the world. Some places would have ton of mana flowing through their lands and other would have little to no mana at all. Do you Understand?

Zetsu: Yeah go on.

Kettei: To fix this problem the people at the time made a tower simply called " The Mana Tower". It has the ability to absorb the mana around the world and distribute it evenly to all places, but since the tower is a human invention it is not perfect.

Zetsu: So the mana hotspots are places where a bit more mana flows then normal?

Kettei: Correct! *proud face* You are learning so quickly my student!

Zetsu: *embarrassed face* Ha ha thanks, but what does the hotspot have to do with getting a "mana core"?

Kettei: In order to get a mana core you have to let a steady flow of mana enter your body, until your body reaches max capacity. if you absorb more then your body can handle. *ahem* You will die.

Zetsu: *scared face* Never mind I don't want to do this anymore.

Kettei: Don't worry when you are at your limit. Your body will tell you.

Zetsu: Okay I trust you on that one. By the way, where is the mana hotspot exactly?

Kettei: Its 3 hours away from "Nyoto".

Zetsu: Nyoto? Those people from a while ago mentioned that place too and for some reason it sounds familiar.

Kettei: After Ishakai destroyed Sokyo 5 year ago we needed a new Capital, so we kinda destroyed the ancient capital Nyoto and turned it into a modern city.

Zetsu: So that means! Nyoto is bootleg Kyoto!

Kettei: Oh I forgot tell you something extra. Ishakai is heavily weakened by the incident from 5 years ago now called "Battle of Sokyo". A lot of the original high schoolers brought here got killed in that battle now only 6 of them are left, but they are also the strongest ones. They rebuild it to a small organisation and that is all the info I know.

Zetsu: I heard nothing about Shibuya, but that is not important right now and I should ask about the "Ultimate scrolls" later.

Kettei: Anyway hold on to me Zetsu. *Taps with both hands on his own shoulder*

Zetsu: Why?

Kettei: Because we are going to hop over there. Running would take 8 hours!

Zetsu: Ah okay but we can't teleport right? Then how do we get there?

Kettei: *irritated face* Stop asking questions and just hold on to me!

Zetsu: Okay okay jeez.

*Zetsu grabbed Kettei shoulders from behind*

Kettei: Okay here we go!

*Kettei created a square red portal and they both went in it*

*they teleport to a different place seeming to be in the normal world*

Zetsu: Woah! Where are we now?!

*He sees a lot of green around him*

Zetsu: It looks like we are in a park. *looks around more* Surrounded by buildings.

Kettei: Oh yeah we are currently in Central Park, New York.

Zetsu: America! Wait you that means you have been here before?!

Kettei: Yup! But.... it's time to go now, before someone sees us.

Zetsu: Hey I am not done looking yet!

*Kettei opened an other portal and this time they arrived at an open space within a forest*

Zetsu: Is this is place? Darn it I wanted to see more of New York!

Kettei: Yes here you will get your mana core. This is the Kireina Forest it has a higher concentration of mana.

Zetsu: Okay... so what now?

Kettei: *points with his finger at the sky* Can you see the tiny blue balls flying around in the sky?

*Kettei sees the entire area fills with floating balls of mana some bigger and other smaller in size*

Zetsu: *looks at the sky* Uh no.

Kettei: Oh wait I forgot uhhh you can't see mana until you absorbed a small amount *looks around* Ah! see that big rock go sit on it.

Zetsu: Sure. *goes to the rock to sit on it* This seems very stupid, but I guess I can't do anything other except following his orders.

Kettei: Just a wait a bit I can see a ball of mana heading your way!

Zetsu: Huh? I see nothing?

Kettei: Just be patient okay.

*A small light blue mana ball float slowly towards Zetsu until it came close*

*Zetsu body absorbed the light blue ball of mana*

Zetsu: Woah look at all the mana floating around! I can see it! HA HA!

Kettei: Okay that's good.

Zetsu: *questioning face* So what do I need to do now?

Kettei: Now I need you to find a comfortable position, close your eyes and concentrate.

Zetsu: Okay. Hmmm Wait I can just ahead and sit in a meditation position as if I am cultivating! *laughs*

*Zetsu goes ahead and sits in a meditation position and closes his eyes*

Zetsu: This rock hurts my butt. Crap! I need to concentrate!

*When Zetsu finally concentrated the small balls of mana suddenly fly towards his body, then his body started to absorb it all*

Kettei: Alright lets see how this plays out!

Zetsu: Woah I can feel it enter my body! Something is forming!

*After a while Zetsu body suddenly felt heavy*

Zetsu: Its like something is pushing me down! I can't move!

*Kettei seemed to notice that Zetsu's body is at his limit!

Kettei: Wait! Zetsu stop your body as at its limit!

Zetsu: Darn it! I can't respond to him it feels as if I am stuck in a trance!

Kettei: Zetsu! You know what F*** it!

*Kettei ran over to Zetsu and gave him a straight punch in the face*

Zetsu: GAH! *falls off the rock* Hey what was that for! *rubbing his face*

Kettei: Shut it! If I didn't do anything you would have died!

Zetsu: *stands back up and move in front of the rock* *surpised face* Oh damn! *scared face* Holy crap i was about to die! Thanks for saving me.
