Steven went home just to see if the centipedles were gone yet, they weren’t, really there were even more of them than earlier. What was notable was that Nora was getting to the Door, meaning she ran home, Steven began wondering if his cousin was a complete moron or if it was just the situation.

Suddenly a centipedle blocked Nora’s path, it was rearing up for an attack, and none of the Crystal Gems had noticed, nor were they close enough to make it in time. Steven didn’t waste time thinking about that, his cousin was about to get a face full of acid, and he still had a third of the beach left to go!

He closed his eyes and reached toward his heart (which his Gem lies directly over), working off instinct. He then rapidly thrusted his hand forward.

SHHHIIIIINNNNKKK.

The was an inhuman scream and then a popping sound, Steven opened his eyes. He was on the stairs, and he was holding something in his hand. Neither thing was true 3 seconds ago so it was, to say the least, disorienting.

The object he had in his hand was some sort of spike, it had spirling grooves running from the tip to the base, down to the base that made it look a bit like a screw. The handle was oval shaped and rough, it had a long, saber like gaurd that extended from the base of the spike, down to the very bottom of the handle.

Steven didn’t really know what to do, so grabbed Nora’s hand and entered the house.

Inside, there were even more Centipedles, Steven continued to stab them, over and over again until known lay in the house anymore.

Nora realized what her cousin had done.

“YOU SUMMONED YOU GEM WEAPON!!!!!!!!!!!”
