My patron saint is Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) and I drew inspiration from her story, which I find to be the most fascinating martyr story of them all. In 1431, Joan was burned at the stake "for being a witch" by the Catholic Church, it wasn't until 500 years later, in 1920, that the same Church that had her burned, made Joan a saint. I am not hating on the Church, I'm just disappointed.
