Later…

The boat reached to the other side of the river and all the animals got off. Tony and Haley were pretty tired but they continued to walk for a couple hours. After time passed Haley began to yawn and drag her paws again. Tony looked down and saw that Haley was getting tired. To Tony’s surprise he began to notice that he was feeling a bit of affection towards the little fox kit. He stopped her with a paw and bent down so that she could climb on his back.

“Here. You shouldn’t push yourself so much. You need your energy,” Tony said.

“Oh, thanks Tony,” Haley said, noticing the offer for a ride.

“Ya ya. Get on,” Tony said with a small smile.

Haley got on Tony’s back and Tony continued to walk.
