The morning after his joyful birthday party, Izuku woke with a terrible, head-splitting headache.
He sat up in his bed, holding his head in his hands, and grumbled as he remembered the embarrassing events of the evening.
[Flackback of the kisses]
“What have I done….” he muttered.
[Flashback of the oraljob]
“Ugh… Oh my god, please kill me…!”
Izuku fell back on his bed and rolled back and forth, covering his visage.
“I swear I will NEVER drink alcohol EVER again!”
Then he thought of Kacchan and how he could possibly face him after such a shameful display. So he decided it was probably best to avoid it today. He jumped off his bed and rushed to the bathroom to take a speed shower.
He came back with no incident and packed his bag to go home for the two-week vacation that the U.A. school had allowed the students for the summer.
After everything was ready, Deku headed out and was about to lock his door when heard a throat-clearing sound on his right. He flinched, immediately recognizing the voice. He slowly turned his face to the person, with a stupid smile on his face.
“K-Kacchan! Hey! G-good morning!”
Bakugou was leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest. He frowned at the view of Deku’s bag.
“Were you really planning on leaving like a thief…?” he scowled. “Not even saying goodbye?”
Izuku flinched again and averted his eyes.
“I just… can’t face you right now…” he admitted, lowering his face. “Not after… THAT!”
Kacchan stared at his friend, noticing the bright crimson blush the creeped on Deku’s face and ears.
“Ah… So you do remember…” Bakugou sighed, scratching the back of his head.
“Ugh! Why did I do that?! This is so embarrassing…!” Deku cried out, covering his teary face.
Bakugou didn’t know how to comfort his friend, so he remained silent for a few minutes. But after a while, he grew impatient and just said:
“It’s not like I didn’t want it, you know…”
Deku raised his head and looked at Kacchan, eyes wide.
“W-what?”
“I liked it… the blowjob, I mean…” Katsuki specified, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks.
Deku gaped at him, not knowing what to reply to that. If his brain could explode from the heat, it would have.
“K-Kacchan?! Please don’t talk about it, please!” he yelled, covering his ears.
Bakugou pulled on one of Deku’s hands and leaned forward.
“I liked it when you ate my…”
“NO!!!” Deku shouted, pushing Bakugou away.
Katsuki suspected the little nerd would be ashamed of what happened, but this was way too funny. He suppressed a chuckle and tried to regain his composure.
“Okay, fine! Have it your way! It won’t erase what we did, you know?”
“...”
“Hey Deku, your phone!” Kacchan said after another moment of silence.
“Huh?”
“Give me your phone, little nerd!”
Deku obeyed, not even asking twice. He handed his smartphone to his friend and watched as the latter synchronized their devices together. Bakugou then gave the phone back and caught Deku’s wrist in the same movement, making the freckled boy jump.
“We need to talk, Deku…” he said, looking very serious all of a sudden. “About… us.”
He could feel Izuku’s pulse under the tip of his fingers; and the pulsations went faster now. He slid his hand over Deku’s and squeezed it gently.
“Y-yeah…” Deku agreed with trembling lips. “I guess we do…”
He knew the two of them had to settle things straight after all the stuff that happened between them in the past few months. He looked up at Kacchan’s face, which was now a few inches from his. He instinctively closed his eyes, whimpering.
Bakugou grinned at such a cute reaction.
“Did you expect a kiss…?” he teased in Deku’s ear.
The boy’s eyes flew back open and he took a step backwards.
“N-not at all! I-I just… ngh!”
He suddenly turned around, grabbed his bag and dashed away towards the exit.
“Oi! Don’t you dare run away, stupid nerd!”
Bakugou called out behind him, but Deku was already at the doors of the building.
“You better answer when I call you!! Or I’ll kill you!!” he yelled, waving a menacing fist in the air.
He went back to his dorm room and kicked the first thing laying on the floor.
“That shitty… of course he had to spoil the mood!”
He calmed down after a few minutes and packed his stuff to go home to his parents’ house for the vacation.
--
The two boys didn’t see each other for a few days, Bakugou finally decided to contact Deku one week exactly after his birthday.
The fiery boy invited his friend over to his house and didn’t take no for an answer. And so there was Izuku, carrying a handful of sweets that his mom had told him to give to Kacchan’s parents. He hesitated for a few minutes before ringing the doorbell, and was immediately met by an impatient Bakugou, who opened the door in a rush.
“Fuck, I thought you would never do it!”
“S-sorry I…”
Deku didn’t have the time to reply, as he was abruptly pulled into the lobby of the house.
“Let’s go to my room.” Kacchan said, pointing to the stairs.
“Katsuki! Don’t rush your guest like that!” his mother shouted, her hands on her hips.
“H-hello Mrs Bakugou!” Deku greeted her, bowing.
“Hey there, Izuku-kun! Long time no see!”
“Yes! Here, this is for you…”
“Oh my, how sweet of you!” Kacchan’s mother exclaimed, “you are just as nice as you were as a kid!”
She raised her hand and ruffled Deku’s curly hair.
“That’s why my son likes you so much!” she smiled, glancing at Katsuki.
“M-mom! Ugh, don’t listen to her, Deku… she’s saying some nonsense again!”
Kacchan grabbed onto Deku’s wrist again and led him to his room before his mother could say anything else.
“Ow, how cute you are when you’re embarrassed, my son!” he heard her say from below.
Bakugou slammed the door of his bedroom once they were inside and cursed under his breath. “That damn woman…!”
Deku chuckled, “You two resemble each other a lot! Haha!”
“What?! Please don’t say disgusting stuff like that!” Kacchan retorted, poking at Deku’s forehead.
The latter looked around and admired the neat and well-decorated room.
“Wow, it’s such a cool room! Not a All Mighty shrine like mine, he he!” Deku joked as he walked around.
Bakugou silently watched him, actually intimidated to have his crush in his very bedroom.
“Well, yeah… I’m not a fanboy like you…” he retorted with a smirk.
“Very true!”
Izuku continued his visit and noticed a photograph above the big desk tucked in front of the window. He approached it and his eyes widened.
“Ah! I remember this!” he exclaimed. “It was taken at Heroes Festival right? Our parents had allowed us to go on our own.”
“Yeah… It was a good time.” Kacchan said, taking a step closer.
“It was actually the first time we were hanging out just the two of us, right? I was so happy that day!” Deku fondly recalled, a slight blush on his cheeks.
“...” Katsuki’s heart skipped a beat. He took another step forward and stood behind Deku. “Were you?”
“Of course!” Deku affirmed. “Oh! And I remember that we had candy floss at some point. It was so big and fluffy that I got it all over my mouth, pfft! And you…”
A vivid flashback came to his mind, his eyes opened wide. “You k-”
“Kissed you…”
Izuku snapped his head to side, to find Kacchan’s face right in front of him. That’s right, it was…
“My first…”
Bakugou leaned in and planted his lips on Deku’s. Then he looked at him so tenderly that it made Izuku blush harder.
“How could I forget…?”
“We were kids… it didn’t mean anything at the time.” Kacchan shrugged, hands in his pockets. “Or so we thought…”
He kissed the boy again, more eagerly this time, cupping his face with both his hands. He bit his lower lip and pressed both their foreheads together.
“So… ready to talk?”
Deku simply nodded and let Kacchan take the lead. The latter pulled him by the hand and made him sit on his bed. He did too, right in front of him, and the two young men stared at each other for an awkward long minute.
