Only three days had passed. Only a few sights of him were around, minus working. Other than that, it seemed like any sort of contact was gone. But it was to be expected.
“He did warn you. So why the long face?” Lunar looked up from the booth he had occupied before another night of work began. Tonight was a job, more than his job really was. Since a friend was in town.
Colourless long hair swayed with the movement of its host while dangerous icicles stared amused at the man in their path. Lilith Devland.
“Yeah. I know. Why do I tell you anything?”
“Because I always end up finding out. Everyone knows that.” She sat down, his face planted in his palms with a smirk. Lunar glanced over before looking away and sighing.
“You really are no saint,” she drew out, the air feeling thinner now,” but yet I feel like there is someone who sees you as one. Is that why you named your nightclub the way you did? Hoping to be that saint, that saviour?” Lilith cooed her words like warm soothed caramel. It made Lunar snort and slip from the booth heading to the bar. Lilith laughed.
As ironic as Salvatore’s Twilight name seemed to be, it was just a weird coincidence. Some people did treat it like a safe haven though.
“Just keep your eyes open for them okay? I really would like this to go smoothly. Keep the messiness outside,” Lilith nodded, smiling too excited because she even agreed to the messiness.

The sound seemed to be an annoyance this time. Making the irritation rise inch by inch. And watching Lilith just stand in the shadows as she does ready to pounce really didn’t help.
Lunar sat at the bar, scanning around as he traced the rim of his glass before his eyes landed on the doors opening to a group of people. No one he knew until the last two came into view. It was finally not going to be a short sight this time. Get some closure too to make sure he was even okay and making sure his idiot self wasn’t going anymore reckless things.
“Erien,” Lunar tracked over to him. Honey eyes glanced up to the man’s tall height, a small smile greeting in return before disappearing along with the little light there was.
“Uh, hi again. Jeez, have you been stalking me now too?” Lunar smiled, shaking his head,” No no, just, timing is too good. I’ve wanted to say see how you’ve been doing but you kept on running from me. How are you?”
Erien glanced around at the floor before an arm hooked around his waist and fingers pulled a bit at his black sweater turtleneck. Lunar noticed and side glanced over to a tanned male, viking tattoos from the shoulder down to his knuckles on either side, the beer bottle hued eyes boarded wild at Lunar.
“Sorry I am late, I got held back on a call. You must be?” The man didn’t look away once. The taunting wide look of a deer in headlights. It made it to where Lunar wanted to swing and knock the look off the guys face. Annoying.
“Lunar Salvatore. I own this place.” He held out a hand to shake the guy's hand. Erien slapped his hand away, and pushed the other and him into the club more.
“Don’t mind us. We aren’t staying long.” Erien’s voice was too vacant than what Lunar was used to hearing from the first time he was around. Even for a first time interaction, it seemed sketchy for someone who seemed so out there. The whole atmosphere wasn’t right.
“I’m Cassius Ty! Nice to meet you!”
“...” Lunar looked down at his hand. No pain. Not because he didn’t feel it, but weren’t short people supposed to have a killing hit? What was that? A fly smacking a wall?

Lunar ended up getting caught up in the plan again. Catching the group of people that came in right at the time Lilith had mentioned and were trapped in one of the booth smoking rooms. Brutality was what it came down to and then thrown out in the back alley waiting for Lilith to get her hands on them. Once Lunar had gotten back to handling around the club and keeping an eye on the crowd along with his bouncers, he watched Cassius pull and disappear with Erien back outside the front doors of the nightclub.
“...”
“May I point out something that you seemed to have looked over?” Lilith was stepping up next to Lunar as she peered at the front doors just as shoes exited.
“What?”
“That little boy, or, young man, whatever, he has bruises. Finger shaped ones and patches.”
Lunar looked at Lilith, the girl’s face a scary sight of distorted enjoyment and seeking interest. A chill ran down his spin. The woman had an unnerving idea again.
“I think that guy that is with him has his hands on him. Though he doesn’t seem like a customer. More like, a partner of sorts.”
Lunar stood up straighter and stalked toward the front doors. Lilith was laughing as she stood in her place,”No point in following them,” she pointed out,”They are long gone now. But I think the next time you see Erien alone, get a hold of him. Or even that stranger too. The little shrimp looked to be in trouble. I watched them both while they were here. Their behaviour was nothing short of interesting. That man kept Erien was speaking to anymore and even going by himself seemed like a no-no.”
“Abuser?”
Lilith didn’t say anything but only kept a wicked smile on her porcelain almost featureless face. Lunar chewed on the inside of his cheek before turning off and heading into the crowd of dancing people.
No wonder it felt weird. The guy’s annoying deer in the headlights stare.
