Snow had piled high coating the ground and trees in a soft blanket of snow. It looked like a winter wonderland, utterly breathtaking. Aiden was busy helping set up for the Meet which will be taking place in a few short hours and there was still so much to get done.
Tonight they would celebrate the coming of the new year and reinforce the connection between allied packs and to form new alliances. He was busy at the moment with setting up the buffet tables and keeping the twins from pulling all the decorations down. Which was a lot harder, especially with Aya and Lucas touching and pulling everything.
Malachi had gone out for a final check of the perimeter and to make sure all the guards were at their posts. His older brother had sent some of his own pack for extra security, which they were both grateful for.
It was only half an hour before the arrival of the first guests and Aiden had yet to get ready. The children were already set in their new formal wear. Lucas wore a light gray suit with a bright blue vests, bringing out the grey of his eyes and beautiful black curly hair.
Aya wore a deep blue princess style dress with a satin bust and sequence littered throughout the skirt. The slightly puffed sleeves hanging off her little shoulders. Her long hair done up in long beautiful sausage curls with two diamond pins on the side of her head keeping the hair from her eyes. They made a beautiful pair, Aiden hoped Malachi would be pleased since he had been the one to pick out their clothes.
Now it was time to go get himself ready, he smiled and headed to his room.

Tyler was furious as he walked up the path to the giant villa the Blood Moon Pack had decided to host the Pack Meet at. His father had warned him to behave on more than one occasion, but Tyler had no intention of doing so especially when his best friend was in trouble.
A month or so ago his father got a call from them inquiring about the number for Mr. And Mis. Summers. His father had been reluctant to give his pack Delta’s number to another pack until Aiden’s name came up. His father gave him the number after some arguing and quest.
Aiden had called the next day but only spoke with his parents and briefly with Tyler’s dad before hanging up. An invitation had arrived a week later for a Pack Meet hosted.by the Blood Moon Pack. His dad had decided it would be best if he went instead of Aiden’s parents, who were very distraught.
Tyler asked almost begged to know what was happening, eventually, Alisa Aiden’s mom caved in telling him Aiden was now part of the Blood Moon Pack and that was all she was willing to share.
His father insisted that it didn't concern Tyler and he should keep his nose out of it. But Tyler was his father’s son, even if he was a dominant omega, he still was just as stubborn. After all his father was the most stubborn Pack Alpha Tyler knew. They had driven his mother nuts on more than one occasion.
Today he was going to rescue Aiden no matter the cost. Aiden was the sweets and had a heart of gold. If anyone deserved to be with their mate it was him.
As they walked up he headed how beautiful and pictures the villa had been dolled up, it telly looked like a fairy tale castle with snow covering the towering packs and soft blue lights outlining the arched doorway and the outline of the house.
They walked through the double doors, the aroma of spiced wine greeted them, servants lined on both sides of the front entrance ready to take coats while others offered a cup of warm spiced wine to warm their bones.
Tyler hated that they would even think of something so considerate, he grabbed a goblet hoping to get a chance to throw it in Malachi Hunt’s smug face. No one mistreats his best friend even if he is the Alpha of the strongest pack.
Once they reached the ballroom Tyler ignored the beautiful decorations and focused all his attention on finding his target. It didn't take him long to spot Malachi, he stood above there rest only a few reached his height but what drew Tyler's eyes more than the Alpha was the creature standing in the circle of his arm.
Tyler's jaw dropped, in the circle of Malachi’s arm stood no other than Aiden. He wore a small band of pearls and diamonds atop his head a braid flowed down onone side resting against his chest. Diamond a and pearls were intertwined within the braid. With every move, his silver hair danced in the light as small flashes from the diamonds flashed now and again.
He wore a light blue satin jacket that wrapped around his slim waist and flared out at the back the satin was replaced by beautiful intricate lace with small delicate snowflakes embroidered along the edge. Diamonds we're placed in the center of each snowflake glinting in the light. His pants were made of the same fabric as his jacket, hugging every curve with a small strip of lace starting at his waist and ending at mid-thigh in the form of a v. He had on a pair of plain white satin heals giving hi a couple of inches of high. He looked breathtaking.
Tyler's eyes could not believe what he saw, his mouth went dry and his hand shook. How could his dad not tell him? Tears pricked his eyes as they landed on the defined bitemark on the back of Aiden’s neck.
Aiden turned his head up to the alpha with a dright smile on his face, nodding at what he said and turning his head back to the couple, they were conversing with.

Malachi could sense that Aiden was uncomfortable by Mrs. Turner's berating him about his gender. The older woman had said countless times how it was such a shame about Malachi’s mate. She remarked how Aiden wasn't suited for the position of Luna, even suggesting a few alpha females she new who were available.
He squeezed Aiden’s side affectionately. Aiden looked up at him with a dazzling smile that almost knocked the wind out of him.
Malachi decided to give his omega a way out buy mentioning that Aya and Lucas may be requiring his assistant with their dinner before their bedtime.
Mr. And Mrs. Turner's scoffed as Aiden bid them a good night and headed out in search of the twins. Malachi watched Aiden's hips sway until he disappeared into the crowd only to pop up moments later heading into the dining room with the children eagerly clutching his hands.
Once out of sight, he turned his angry gaze onto his guests. He had bearly been able to keep his anger in check as he listened to Aiden being berated and put down and Aiden had just stood there with a smile plastered on his lips as if he wasn't bothered by it all.
"I wasn’t under the impression that I require your opinion on who will be my packs, Luna," Malachi said malice dripping from every word.
They both swallowed visibly folding into themselves at the intensity of the malicious pheromones Malachi directed at them.
Malachi wasn’t known for his kindness and all those who knew him steered away from angering him. Unfortunately for the Turners, they had decided to poke the sleeping bear, and now they were face to face with a very angry wolf.
Throughout the night Malachi had heard comments made about Aiden but none had actually voiced their views directly to him. Or they would have probably lost their lives.
Malachi was ready to rip the couple's throats out when a voice cleared next to him.
A tall and with sandy blond hair and taned skin and deep green eyes stood next to him, decide the man was a minuture version on the older man only his skin was slightly lighter.
The small male was glaring at him while the older male supported a tight smile eventually slapping the younger behind the head.
The boy rubbed his sore head mumbling an apology refusing to look back up. The older man extended his hand.
"My name is Zach Summers, I believe my precious nephew has been placed under your care.” the Alpha said with a smile that didn't reach his eye.
"This is my son Tyler. Do excuse his behavior his been missing his cousin for some time."
Malachi placed the name as soon as he heard it his name. The Crescent Moon pack was the only one big enough to rival his own but just bearly and their leader Zach Summers were both well known. They occupied the south while Malachi’s pack the North so they rarely had any interactions.
He wondered who his nephew could be until he recognized the man's voice as the same one who had originally refused his request for the number of Aiden’s parents.
Now the other Alpha’s eyes had turned to the Turner's as well. His smile was icy as he spoke.
"Oh my I did not realize you were still here." The Turner's turned pail their mouths unable to speak.
"You may tell your Alpha that I have changed my mind on forming an alliance with your pack." Alpha Summers finished before turning his attention back on Malachi.
Malachi didn't have to say a single word as he watched them scurry away headed for the door. Not even glancing back as they went.
Zach Summers extended his hand to Malachi once again, Malachi shook the others alpha’s hand instantly. They stood hands clasped sizing each other up neither willing to let go first.
Malachi dropped the man's hand, he sensed Aiden’s fear and he left the man heading in the direction of his sent. The man seemed to sense something too because he trailed behind Malachi and the other omega running behind them trying to catch up.
He spotted Aiden before the others he was standing at the bottom of the stairs leading to the family quarters his head turned towards the entrance of the ballroom. His face pale as the snow outside and he shook visibly.
Malachi itched to look behind him but Aiden needed him right now, he was fading and fading fast. His knees suddenly buckled and his body went limp. Malachi had made it just in time, catching Aiden just before he fainted.
He turned around to see the culprit of Aiden’s distress only to see Mike Campbell standing in the doorway.
