When we arrived at the school, it reminded me about that dream. I don't remember it clearly but this school looked a whole lot like that shadowy building behind the cyclops. It had an eerie feeling around it and even though it was 9:00, you would think it was night time. At the entrance, there were seniors welcoming all the new students. They all had these...monster suits on and the creepiest part was that they looked real, some were even flying! I mean I know October's next week, but this is going a bit overboard.

When I got my class schedule, it showed a monster rank section but it was left blank. Jeez, this school goes all-out for Halloween huh? I looked up from the paper and realized that I had walked aimlessly in the halls and that I somehow went all the way up to the 3rd floor. Great, getting lost on the first day. I looked around. "Maybe I could ask someone for help." After wandering around a but more, I saw a tall muscular figure in front of me. "Hey um..." He turned around showing a wolf necklace. "Do you know where class 1-B is? I think I'm lost."

"1-B?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Cool, I'm heading there myself so we can look for it together"

"Sure."

"Name's Justin, Justin Okami. Nice to meet you."

"You too, I'm Jaden."

We walked down to the 1st floor until we saw a sign saying Class 1-B floating above a door. Man, this place is weird. "Guess this is it." Justin slid the door open only to find a girl standing in front of us with her arms crossed. She had purple hair and purple & blue eyes. Wow... "You're late, it's already time for lunch."

"Sorry, we got lost." Justin chuckled nervously.

"Honestly. Huh?" She looked in my direction and I could feel my face turning red. "Who's this?"

"Oh this is Jaden."

"Nice to meet you." I tried keeping a straight face. She got closer and studied me. I felt my face turn a bit red. Close.

"I'm Mallory, but you can just call me Mal."

"O-Okay."
