Silver feathers? Where did they come from? Were they robot parts being used as weapons like ours? I looked around. I couldn't move my head, so my vision was limited, but I didn't have far to look. A woman with puffy blonde hair wearing a leather jacket and leather pants with all sorts of designs and patterns was right next to me. She peered down at me with something like disgust in her eyes.
“Plaguebringer! Fix her up. Then, I will give you another toy,” her eyes shot towards the alien soldier now out of my field of view, likely on the ground. A purple and black dragon wearing a metal mast0k and some pieces of armor, but not the rest came into my field of view. A sharp pain erupted from my stomach. I writhed as claws went in and out of my flesh. They seemingly only touched areas that already had wounds. What was this thing doing? Why only touch areas with wounds? The woman said ”Fix her up,” was the dragon trying to heal me? If so, why was it so painful? My eyes closed. My world was darkening from the pain and blood loss. Suddenly the pain stopped. I opened my eyes. The woman was leaning over me. I could see her eyes. They were hazel and filled with sorrow… and hope.
“Flamethrower, Tsunami, Sunlight, Plaguebringer! Join the fight! No goofing off. Remember the rules set by our little commander here too! Get to work! We will save this version of humanity!” The woman yelled without her eyes leaving mi0ine.. Four dragons flew over my head. I saw them with my limited visibility. They all had semi armor like the purple and black one and masks from what I could tell. The purple and black one was there, along with one of different shades of blue, one that was different shades of gold, and one w0that was red, yellow, and orange.
Carefully, the woman pulled me into a sitting position. She hugged me. For a few seconds, I sat there, unable to do anything else, being hugged by a complete stranger. Then, she put a leg behind my back and pulled a flask off her belt. She held it to my lips and tilted back my head. “Drink,” she said. With no way of refusing the liquid with my limited energy, I drank. The liquis0d was cool and sweet. It was like pure energy flew straight into my body, reaching to every corner of me. My vision went back to normal, and I felt better than I ever had before. I blinked at her in astonishment as the flask was pulled away.
Then a foot shoved her backwards. Like, 100 meters backwards through several pieces of rubble. The foot that pushed her had been of… another her? She looked the same except for her eyes. They were both indigo purple. The original woman, which i will now call Hazel appeared in front of the second woman, which i will now call Indigo.
“Zero Zero One, I know why you came, but remember our book? I simply could not stand to let her die now. She needed rainbow water, so…” Said Hazel, looking apologetic.
“Zero Zero Zero, you could have paused the universe and came to ask me if you could use it on her. I would have totally said yes. She’s our characters after all. However, now you owe me one. Be expecting me to ask for a favor sometime in the next century while you’re not asleep, I'll let it go for now though,” stated Indigo with her head held high.
Then what looked like a portal appeared and she walked through it. Hazel sighed. I started to feel queasy. Hazel looked at me. I looked at Hazel. Hazel sighed again. I covered my mouth. Hazel looked into the distance. I barfed. Hazel patted me on the back. The four dragons stood in front of me.
“Pleguebringer, you put her back together correctly right?” asked Hazel, narrowing her eyes. The purple and black dragon turned around.
“Nice sunset, isn’t it?”said the dragon. The other three were staring at the purple one.
“You hate talking about bright things. Hope. Lightbulbs. The sun. Answer master’s question. And tell the truth. We will know if you don’t,” ordered the blue dragon. Red was rimming my vision.
“I may have not done it right,” plainly answered the blue dragon, turning around again.
“Fix her right!” Ordered Hazel. I felt myself hitting the ground. The last thing I saw before my world went black was claws, shoes, corpses, and rubble.
