The wind howled loudly through the streets of Seoul, the snow swirling in the air and forming a white expanse of mist that ravaged the streets, causing everyone to stay home with their family and loved ones. The lights filled each building looking like stars on Earth.

Jun walked towards his lover holding two steaming cups of hot cocoa with a smile on his face. Sirang held the blanket open to him as he sat down next to him. 

He wrapped the warm heated light blue blanket around him taking the second mug away from him.

“How’s the movie so far?” Jun asked, looking at the movie Sirang was watching. “They're about to say ‘I love you’.” He told him, whispering into his ear.

Sirang grinned as he turned his head to look at Jun who was now paying attention to the movie. “I love you,” He said in sync to the movie, a cheeky smile on his face.

“I like you too.” Jun said with a smile on his face. Sirang sighed, turning his head away, feeling very annoyed.

“What?”

Sirang didn’t say anything, simply turning his head away and switching the channel to a different holiday movie. He honestly didn’t feel like watching a romance movie with his lover anymore. Jun pushed Sirang’s arm lightly. “What? Did I do something wrong?” He asked, trying to look him in the eyes but getting avoided every single time.

Sirang sighed and looked at him “I just said I love you.

“After all this time, not once have you told me the same.”

Jun blinked, speechless. He didn’t have any words to refute that statement.

It wasn’t like he didn’t love the other man.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to say it. He could only think that he was just too stubborn. After all this time… He was just too stubborn to say how he felt about the other.

“So? Just because I didn't say it, doesn’t mean that I don’t. I’m here, aren’t I? Why would I spend a year in a relationship with someone I didn’t love?” He asked, putting down the now only warm mug on the coffee table in front of them.

“Then why can’t you say it? Hmm? I’ve said it since the moment we met again.” He pulled back his messy hair. “What’s so wrong about telling me ‘I love you’?

“Is it such a hard thing to do Jun?”

Jun stared at him, dumbfounded. “Why are you so angry? It’s just three words.”

Sirang nodded and got up off the couch “Fine when you can finally say those ‘three words’, come and get me.” Sirang left the room, storming off into their bedroom and locking the door behind him, going to wash his face to cool down. 

He only wanted to hear ‘I love you’ from the person he loved most. ‘Is that so hard?’ He thought as he looked at his reflection in the bathroom mirror. 

The man sighed and walked to the bed and sat down, staring out the window at the snow falling past to the ground.

Jun sat on the couch, his head in his hands. He couldn’t believe how stubborn he just was. All he had to say was ‘I love you’, it wasn’t that hard. All he could think was “Why am I so damn stubborn?” He loved the man without a doubt. 

The start was rocky, of course, what relationship wasn't? He didn't know how he fell for the man, but even if he was crazy possessive, he somehow still loved his faults entirely. He drank the now cold drink from the mug and laid down on the couch, his arm covering his eyes. 

Soon, everything abruptly turned black. ‘It’s too dark.’ He thought. Jun sat up and looked around, it was a blackout all over the city.
