It's been 2 weeks since Raziel's return.

Having a well established coven the moment he came back still gives him ecstasy. He's been thinking of grand plans while Kalhil isolates him from his people. Even if he hates to admit it,  he needs time to adjust. Thanks to his eldest providing safe haven he could take his sweet time 'adjusting'.

'Surely, he will be rewarded. And by the looks in his eyes. I know all too well on where to start. But first. My dear Aude, my foolish little witch. He is still in deep sleep. I could just heal him with a spell. . . but of course I told the others there is nothing I can do.'  A smile tugged his lips as he stares at the child's serene face.

Being the leader of a coven, and a millennium year old witch has its perks. His people will believe whatever lies Raziel spun. Surely, this will bring the child no harm. Just a little punishment for not following his advice. Raziel let the child suffer the consequences of his actions, while he keeps Aude in his room as he adjusts to the real world.

The 'master', as they call Raziel, managed to convince them, especially Deva Sinclair, to let Aude stay in his room. He claimed that the child needs to absorb his energy so he could survive. So they need to be together 24/7. But really, Raziel just wanted to look at a familiar face as he physically adjusts to this world. Being with the child calms his anger.

He sat down at the side of the bed to get a better look of Aude's pale skin. His eyes traced the bridge of the child's nose to that cute pouty pink lips.

Raziel licked his own, feeling the urge to. No.  'Raziel, he is a child.' The silver haired beauty hummed as he taps his lips with his long nail.

He stood up, flicking the satin red robe that Kalhil prepared for him.

"Kal," he called, and in a snap Kalhil's figure appeared before his master. "Yes ma-" Raziel slammed his lips against Kalhil's making him gasp. 'Yes, this is your reward as well as a means to help me gain my energy.'

"Master?" Kalhil gasped between their kiss. The thing about Raziel and his orphans, their power has bonded over years, and that connection allows them to appear transparent to Raziel. He is perfectly aware of what is going on in their brain. This is something that he has hidden from them. Not wanting them to feel threatened by his presence. Raziel never, ever, pried for his own satisfaction. Even if he knows what they think, he never calls them out.  Though at times he admits it made him uncomfortable to think some of his orphans looks at him in a lewd way.

But that was in the past. He had experienced to be betrayed by his own blood. His orphans? Most likely. Raziel hopes for their loyalty and love. Being the eldest of Raziel's orphans. This is a double edged reward. Raziel thought while hoping he won't experience another heart wrenching betrayal.

An intimate touch with each other allows one to see one's past. Unlike the chaotic thoughts going on Kalhil's brain at the moment. Raziel still needs to know what he was up to. Is this coven really created for my sake? A person who was betrayed once could never easily trust someone ever again. Especially if that led to his almost death. 'This is my test for you my dear.'

'A kiss. Very intimate.'

If Kalhil survived through this, that means his loyalty is true, and Raziel shall give his real reward. But if. . .

Then, the eldest shall be the first one to perish.

Raziel has been in a dark place for 500 years. The sweet gullible Raziel died the moment. He smiled, satisfied with his dear's reaction. Kalhil's legs went limp, lean against Raziel, submitting to his master's lips.

'What have I done to make master act like this? He never lays his hand on us. It's always been a silent rule. No matter how hard we tried with our advances in the pas-', Raziel cancelled out the tumultuous thoughts of Kalhil while he concentrates on digging into his past.

And only if Kalhil submits then Raziel shall have full access through his mind. Raziel snaked his arm around Kalhil's waist as he steady him. Raziel closed his eyes, deepening the kiss as far as it's humanly possible, he scoured through his orphans mind.

'It's been a silent rule? Yes, I've known some of my orphans had other plans with their relationship with me. I've always seen them as children. If Levant never did what he did. I shall forever keep our relationship pure. Now, I'm just scum on earth. Even doubting my first orphan.'

Once convinced, Raziel leaked out some of his essence into his dear orphan's mouth. As he cast a spell using his mind, making the essence Kalhil absorbed permanent in his body.

The eldest gathered all of his strength to gently push his master away while looking at him with questioning eyes. Kalhil was no fool. He knows what Raziel just performed.

"Was that a test Maste-" "Raziel" His eyes widens as he finds himself unable to continue standing. Raziel gestured for the sofa that was placed at the end of the bed to come forward. Once the sofa touched his leg, he took it as an invite for a seat.

"I do not dare," he managed to whisper as soon as his butt landed on the sofa.

"My dearest" Raziel trailed as he walk towards him, caressing the scar under his left eye. The one he received while desperately trying to rescue Raziel's coffin from that bastard.

"I've seen your past. Your sacrifices. Your undying devotion and trust. The perseverance that resulted to this coven. 9 siblings gave up and chose to rest beside me, leaving you to fight on your own. My dear. This is me being grateful."

"You saw?" Raziel nodded as he stare at him lovingly.

'D . . did master noticed how I see him in an immoral way?'

Raziel smirked at his thought. Foolish child. I've always known. You always made it uncomfortable for me.

"My final gift" On a whim, Raziel lowered his head to Kalhil's forehead giving it a kiss. "W. . .what"

'Having someone you see as a child harbor those thoughts are somewhat horrifying for my past self. But that version of me died. Now, what rage would the past me feel knowing that I finally laid my hands on my orphan. To think this day will come. How low have I sunk.'

"I locked your mind so it will not be read by me, or by an enemy. Your thoughts, will only be yours truly." A tear dripped down Kalhil's face as he listens to his master's genuine words.

"Read? Did you just hear what I thought?" Kalhil avoided eye contact for a minute, anxious if what he has hidden for centuries has been finally discovered, but then stare at the ethereal beauty in front of him waiting for his answer. Raziel tilted his head, as if showing he does not know what Kal meant.

"Now, now. No tears" Raziel laughed it off as he wipes it with his thumb.

"It's too much, my lord. All I did was have faith in you" Raziel shook his head in disapproval making him frown. "Raziel" he whispered.

"Yes, my dear?" Raziel answered while chuckling.

*My dear Kal doesn't seem to want my intimate advances on him. Before I locked his mind, all his thought were transparent to me. I was pretty sure that I am wanted. Raziel thought while smirking.

'My foolish one. If he doesn't allow, then how would I fully replenish my strength. Surely this young body beside me is behind his years. Too early to corrupt this one.' Raziel sighs in content as he wrap his arm around Aude's body.

Kal doesn't allow Raziel to associate with his coven yet. Kalhil is keeping Raziel inside for more than two weeks now. 'He is lucky that I have my little witch here. Enough to entertain me while I let the eldest show me what he got. I could fix his problem in a snap. But surely, he doesn't want to.' Raziel furrowed his brows while tracing the child's lips.

"My Kalhil is harboring a vampire inside the coven. Not that it is against any rules. But this vampire." Raziel tries to breathe in and out deeply to quell his anger. His hold on Aude tightening as if he is Raziel's only sanity.

'I trust my Kalhil but hell I don't trust this child of the night.'
