Momo’s Pov

I can’t cook at all and according to Hide neither can he but he wants to make a three layer cake. I can already feel a disaster coming. When I asked him what type of cake he wanted to make he said that I could choose so I picked vanilla cake since it’s my favorite. Since he didn’t have anything to actually make the cake we had to go to the store and get some stuff for it.

When we got to the store we went straight to the baking isle and got the cake mix and sprinkles. We got three cake pans and all the ingredients for the cake. After we paid for the stuff we got into Hide’s car and went back home. Once we got into the house we washed our hands and Hide said that he wanted to start making the cake.

After we got out the all the boxes of cake Hide got out a big bowl and poured all three boxes in at once. After we put all the ingredients in the bowl Hide got out a big spoon and asked me to mix it. The giant bowl that was almost filled to the brim with cake batter looked pretty intimidating. After Hide got out all of the cake pans and washed them he told me to put oil in them.

He asked me if I could pour the cake batter in the pans and I just ignored him because that must’ve been a trick question. He asked me again and and I asked him if he was being serious. He had the most blank expression on his face when he said yea. I laughed and asked him how I was supposed to hold something that heavy.

He picked it up and said that it wasn’t that heavy and that I was being dramatic. I got the cake pans and held them in place so that they wouldn’t move when Hide poured the cake batter. Once he finished pouring the cake batter into the pans we put them into the oven and waited for them to get done.

While we waited for the cake to get done we went upstairs and watched tv. Every time Hide and I are watching tv or just sitting together he always puts his hands around my waist. After around 30 minutes of watching tv we went back down stairs to check the cakes and when I went to take them out I burned my hand because I forgot to put an ovenmit on.

Hide took out the rest of the cakes because he said that I was too clumsy. Once the cakes cooled off we tried to get them out of the pan but they where stuck. After a couple of more tries to get the cakes out we gave up and Hide asked his chef to help up get it out. When the chef came over and looked at the cakes I could tell that she was trying to hold back her laugh. After a couple minutes the chef got the cakes out of the pans and then we started putting the frosting on them.

Once we started frosting them Hide kept touching the frosting and his hands got all sticky. He’s literally like a child.

“Baby why’d you make the cake like that?”When we were stacking the cakes up Hide put one of the cakes crooked and then he blamed me for it.

“Huh? You did that.” I can’t believe he tried to blame me for messing up the cake. All I could do is laugh because now we have a lopsided cake. Hide tried to fix the cake but he just messed up the frosting.

“Babe just leave it.” I told him to leave it because we are going to cut into it anyways. And even after I said that he continued to try and fix it and literally all I could do was laugh. After a few more failed attempts Hide just gave up and started frosting the cake again.

Both of his betas walked in and they asked us what we were doing. When I said that we made a cake they both came over to look at it. When they came over they started laughing almost immediately. Hide cut both of them a slice and when they tasted it they looked so surprised. So I cut myself a slice and tried it and I was shocked because it was actually good. I guess I underestimated me and Hide.
