The sky starts clearing as the fortress of Baronia moves away from the kingdom. Leaving the atmosphere as it settles right within the Moon's orbit.

"As you wish, my lord. What shall the next move be?" The doctor wondered.

      The Baronia King gets up from his throne.

"Very well, doctor. As you know, what we just witnessed is how stupid and careless this generation is. The way these beings pay attention to their natural surroundings.”

"True indeed and interesting for this generation." Nodded the doctor. "They seem to be rather laid back, which will give us the upper hand compared to the last generation of fighters."

     The King takes a look at the holographic chess board from earlier.

"This boy is the only minimal threat so far. So dimwitted and clueless. Order another set of Pawns to attack his village this time."

     Dr. Page raised one of his brows to question the King.

“Wouldn’t that be repetitive to do that? Wouldn’t this be a good time to send our first monster?”

     The King explains more.

"I'm aware, but we only saw this Alistor fight once. I want to make sure if that was just dumb luck or if he can fight back."

“So we’re going to play it compared to last time. Very well then.”

"More efficient data will prevent us from making the same mistake." He noted. "I intend to go down there to introduce myself. They shall soon know who we are."     

     As Alistor rushed back home as quickly as possible. Mr. Tannen spots Alistor and follows up with him while carrying the load of dead beasts.

 "What's the hurry? You're a bit different than usual."

"We got ourselves a new enemy. I barely survived the battle with some strange mechanical soldiers. Maybe because my sword was broad before I realized it."

     Tannen started laughing back positively.

"So you fell for another one of Maigashi's pranks. Lucky for you, ha. You should stop falling for his tricks to get better."

     Alistor starts to feel slightly embarrassed.

"Well, I'll get him for this. I could have been screwed over if I had known earlier." Alistor takes a look at the dead beasts Tannen is carrying.

"More supplies, I see? You hunted them down?"

     He looked back at Alistor.

"Yep. It should last us for about one month. It is good that you are starting to fend for yourself. You know Sairori, and I can't always be there to watch your back forever."

     Alistor nodded back.

 "Well, we're back finally."

     They both make it back to Emerald Village. Alistor and Tannen returned home as everyone was downstairs. Auroa was by Sairori, joining him for tea as Maigashi was lying around napping on a couch. The door opens as Alistor enters and immediately jumps on Maigashi.

“You bastard! I nearly got myself killed cause of you.”

     They start to wrestle with each other on the ground.

Sairori ignores the conflict, and Auroa just gives off a smile. Maigashi pinned Alistor back on the ground.

 “I still got it!”

   They continue to wrestle. Tannen watches the fight while standing at the door. The two continue to exhaust themselves. Tannen grabs a seat at the table.

    "So, any news?" Sairori asked.

    Tannen quickly recaps everything Alistor tells him. The arrival of the Baronia fortress and his battle against the pawns.

“He barely survived with the broad sword.” He concluded.

Sairori puts his cup down.

"Well, that explains everything, I guess."

      He starts to get annoyed with the racket Alistor and Maigashi continuing.

“Someone stop them with this pointless racket.”

    Tannen drops the supplies he was carrying on his back and gets up. He breaks them both up, dragging the two out. Outside, Alistor and Maigashi were sent as Tannen had his arms crossed. The two continue to not look at each other like kids.

"Enough with this act. We are comrades in arms. There is a time for fun and a game, but now's not the right time."

     They both ignore Tannen, but he smacks them on the head.

"If you both won't cooperate, there will be no dinner for both of you."

“No dinner!” Shouted Maigashi. “

What!” Gasped Alistor.  

     Tannen made his decision.

"Now, both of you make up. You can come back in when you're ready."

     Tannen returns back inside as the two remain outside. They both continue not to face each other. Maigashi laughed obnoxiously.

"If you hadn't jumped on me, this would have never happened."

     He glared back at Maigashi.

"Jumped? You were the one that started it."

 "Oh really? You're the one that's talking. Thanks to you, we'll go without dinner for the night."

     Alistor sighed.

"Well, this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't given me that broad sword. We have a new enemy, and I could barely survive."

     They continue arguing like little girls as Tannen leans to the door. Sairori looks outside through the window to check on both of them.

"Sigh…Bamboo, how did you even bring them together?"

     Katty then enters the room.

"Auroa just mentioned something about Alistor. Is he all right?"

"Oh, he'll be fine," Tannen assured. "I just threatened them with no dinner for tonight if they won't behave."

      Katty's mood quickly brightened up a bit.

"Well, that's a relief. I just got back from my daily morning training. What's for dinner?"

      He looks over at the supplies Tannen brought back.

"Whoa! You caught a hand full today, didn't you?"

Tannen nodded with a smile. "Yep. Hunted them down before I met up with Alistor."

     Sairori looks away from the window. "Well, we should discuss the latest news before lunch. They return to the living room while Alistor and Maigashi continue arguing outside. As time passed, they finally got tired. Noon was breaking in as they were already getting hungry. The cold temperature starts to rise as the winds begin to pick in. Baronia was wasting no time getting everything prepped and ready.

“My lord. Are we ready to deploy down?”

    The Baronia King waves his staff to the side.

"Yes, no time to waste. Let us deploy down for a brief introductory."
