As Tomoe walked through the hallway, the blue light shone on his skin. The school looked like a prison. With large metal doors and windows blocking the entrances and exits. The only sounds that could be heard were his own breathing and footsteps. However,Tomoe could make the very faint sounds of footsteps from behind him. It sounded far away so he didn't bother and just continued walking.

  The footsteps got louder and a man with a magnificent brown beard tapped on his shoulder. "Tomoe,right? I'm Jason,a gym teacher."

  "I see...what can I help you with?"

  "Funny you say that,I actually wanted to ask you the same question! I heard that there's this monster in the gymnasium and I wanted to help."

  "So it's in the gymnasium...That already helps a lot. Thank." Tomoe was about to run off but,Jason stopped him.

  "Wait,seriously,let me help you."

  "Hmmm....have you.......do you know what Rign actually are?"

  "All I know is that their monsters that have a weirdly spelled name."

  "Well yeah,the 'g' is silent."

  "So,what's a Rign?" They continued walking as they talked.

  "A Rign is what your kind would call "demons". A beast from the Underworld known for chaos."

  "Demons,huh.........So all we need to do is kill them,right?"

  "They don't look like what you think they would. They can be extremely similar to you and I. Difference is,biology and strength."

  "They're stronger?"

  "Depends on which one you face. They follow a tier-like system."

  "What're the tiers?"

  "It starts with the Ohrign,the Demon King,at the very top. Then,the Mistresses. After that,is the Royal Family and Taize,who are on the same level. And finally,is rank 0 - 11 for the regular Rign."

  "Royal Family,huh...Must've been trained hard from birth,hm?"

  "Not "Family" in that way. You go higher simply by strength."

  "Wait,so the Ohrign?"

  "Said to have killed tens of millions of not only rudi-...humans like you,but also his own kind."

   "Wait,seriously?" A sweat droplet dropped down despite air-conditioning being plenty. It was obvious that they were scared.

  "Mhmm. The Headmaster told me,that him and the Taize made a treaty. The Taize have their own houses in which they carry rank 0 - 11 Rign."

  "Meaning that the only possible demon in our school is Royal Family?"

  "Correct." Although he expected this answer,Jason did not wanna hear it. Knowing that he was going to go up to someone that strong,scared him."

  "...Like I said,Jason."

  "Wha...what is it?"

  "You don't need to help me. It will be a challenge but,it is my job so I can do it on my own."

These words settled in Jason. For a while,both of them were just walking side-by-side in silence. Not saying a single word to each other. The only sounds,again,coming from their breaths and the footsteps.

  "Well...Tomoe......."

  "What's wrong?"

  "I want to help you. Even if I can't join the fight and I just watch,I want to help." He looked at Tomoe dead-serious.

  "...You have good eyes. Alright,all the doors in the gymnasium should be locked except 1. I want you to help keep it closed so he cannot escape. Can you do that?"

  "I'll do it!"

  As they got to the door of the gymnasium,both of them were nervous. Jason because he had never met a Rign and knowing that he's meeting a second-in-command,terrified him. And Tomoe because his arm was broken so he'd be left at a disadvantage.
Despite these fears,they still marched through. When they opened the door,they saw something ramming itself into a wall,trying to break it. It was large and gold. It was extremely muscular and his veins looked like they were going to pop out of his arms. He had long claws and fangs. Despite all of these features,he had wings that were as tiny as a baby bird's.

  "Name?"

  "Who wants to know." Said the Rign. He quickly rushed to Tomoe and tried to claw him. Jason quickly ran out and closed the door behind him,holding it shut. Tomoe dodged him by flipping backwards and also ended up kicking him in the face.

  "My name is Tomoe Sé Fate."

  "Sé? SÉ? SÉ? Are you serious? HA! That's ridiculous."

  "Is it not believable?"

  "OF COURSE NOT! Sé wouldn't be here. They were eradicated eons ago."

  "That is why I'm here. To change that."

  He tried to claw at Tomoe again but only ended up missing.  "THEN LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN!" He then chased Tomoe and tried clawing him over and over again.

  Tomoe then backed up to a wall and a threw flame at him. It engulfed him but he didn't catch on fire and he took a few steps back. Tomoe took this opportunity and took out his scythe. He aimed for his neck but was kicked back. The Rign recovered and went full-force.

  Without touching him,he pushed Tomoe back. Actually,it was more as if something was pulling him in from behind. Either way,Tomoe went slamming into the wall and his stomach started bleeding.

  "You lived,huh? Surprising,maybe you actually are a Sé,maybe you aren't. Honestly,it doesn't matter. You asked for my name,right?" Something fell out of Tomoe's coat pocket and a smokescreen appeared. The Rign immediately dispelled it by pushing it all to the side but he was gone.

  "I hate people who talk during fights. What I hate more are people who ramble on. Now get to your point." Tomoe was behind him.

  "Oh,you're a dead man. My name is Nilats and make sure to remember it."

  "Nilats the Fearful?"

  "Of course. I induce-"

  "I thought you got your name from running away from battle." The second Tomoe had finished this sentence,Nilats immediately attacked. However,Tomoe was expecting this and cut off his head immediately. "Knowing where they come from makes it so much easier to attack but gosh,it is scary..." Tomoe then fell to the ground and called for Jason.

  "Hey! You okay?" Jason ran to Tomoe and quickly helped him up. Putting one of Tomoe's arms on his shoulder.

  "Just an old wound opening back up...I just..need my bag and I will...can fix it."

  "I'll go get your bag but first,I'm bringing you to Amelia."

  "The.....nurse?"

  "Yep." Jason helped bring him to Amelia as quickly as possible. After he brought him to the door,Tomoe insisted he handled it on his own so Jason ran back to the Headmaster's Office to go get Tomoe's bag.

  Tomoe opened the door, "Excuse me,I would like some help."
