Common Terms and General Info:
· IGA – Intergalactic Association (in charge of a specific universe, typically with a specification in front i.e. the CH834 IGA)
· (I)PC – (Intra)planar Council (in charge of a specific plane, typically with a specification in front i.e. the MiP (I)PC)
· IPB – Interplanar Board (in charge of all 7 planes)
· IGUM – Intergalactic Underground Market (basically the black market for a universe. Can be specified but typically isn’t since it’s illegal. Look to context usually. If specification is used, though, it’d be like this: the CH834 IGUM)
· (I)PUM – (Intra)planar Underground Market (the black market for a plane. Can be specified but typically isn’t since it’s illegal. Look to context usually. If specification is used, though, it’d be like this: the MiP (I)PUM)
· IPD – Interplanar Dark (the black market for all 7 planes and is very very illegal. Like, more illegal than PUM illegal)
· Intraweb – web for an entire plane. Typically with the plane acronym in front. For example, the MiP Intraweb
· Interweb – web for all 7 planes
· IPCTE – Interplanar Circle of Elements (a full "periodic table" of all elements from the 7 planes. ...There's a lot of them)
· IGC – Intergalactic Credit (the universal currency for a universe, typically with a specification in front i.e. CH834 IGC)
· (I)PF – (Intra)planar Finance (intraplanar currency for a plane, typically with a specification in front i.e. MiP (I)PF)
· IPA – Interplanar Assets (interplanar currency for all 7 planes)
· Intradimensional – between planets in your own dimension, a single universe
· Interdimensional – between dimensions in your plane
· Intraplanar – between your plane including dimensions that belong to both your plane and another (that's why it's different from interdimensional). It's rarely used, tho
· Interplanar – between all planes
· Galactic – used for within a galaxy. Used but not common since most things are on a larger scale
· Intergalactic – within the universe. Most intergalactic terms and acronyms are the same for all universes so you have to see where the person talking is from if there’s no specification said. They're most likely referring to their own in that case. It’s very similar to Intradimensional, but there are some minor nonessential differences. This is more commonly used among the public while Intradimensional is more used in formal settings, the scientific community, legally, etc.
· Planar is the broadest term, being used for both Intraplanar and Interplanar unless otherwise specified
· Subplane – a specific split in a plane for whatever reason. The most common example is the split for the FF and BF in the FP
· Sector – most planes have 2 to 8 sectors. They're similar to subplanes, except most are just done to make mapping planes easier and have no specific organization to them
· Subsector – a split in a specific dimension or sector usually done for organization purposes. The most common example is how the Death Realm is split into two with the Spirit Subsector (Asphodeimon) connecting the two other sides, Tartarox and Elysiane
· All planes have sectors, only some have subplanes
· IPMU – Interplanar Mass Units (as the name suggests, these are the universal units for mass)
· IPHU – Interplanar Height Units (once again, as the name suggests, these are the universal units for height)
· IPY – Interplanar Years (universal constant for years since times change)
· Lightyears, lightmonths, lightdays, lighthours, lightminutes, lightseconds, etc. are used for distances (may also be used for time since they're proportional, but just months, seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc. are more common)
· Warp Drive – the device in spaceships that allow them to travel at lightspeeds
· Hypertube – typically the warp space surrounding a ship travelling at lightspeeds. If a ship falls out of the hypertube, they can end up who knows where between destinations
· Warp Gate – specific places that allow for a jump. There are typically hundreds in each sector. Gates are required as it basically bends space but not time, creating a special kinda wormhole
· Jump – references a special technique that’ll teleport a spaceship from one warp gate to another. This is how travelling around in shorter times is possible even lightyears apart. Jumps only last about a few minutes
· Hyperspace – the space surrounding a ship that is jumping between warp gates. If a ship falls out of hyperspace for whatever reason, it can either phase out completely or it’ll get split between the two warp gates, demolishing the ship as open space sucks out the people inside. Either way leads to a lot of death and destruction and is extremely terrible
· Jumps are usually quite safe and warp gates ensure this, but it can be risky and dangerous at times. It is highly recommended to not jump if you are in a hurry to escape. The possibility of falling out of hyperspace then is much higher when such is the case
· STC – Space-Time Continuum (the entire seven planes)
· Portal – a smaller warp gate. It’s not as dangerous thanks to the scaling of it and only last a few lightseconds. It’s also more controlled. Portalling is very common for single-person transportation or if only transporting a few people
· Tier – short for STC Tier. It’s an STC ranking depending on the creature intelligence and power. There are 4 main tiers: Animal, Sentient, Intelligent, and Ethereal. Most creatures fall into the middle 2. Ethereal tier creatures only really live in the ClP and sometimes the CP. Animal tier does not actually contain animals, but rather savage beasts that’re incapable of even feeling anything. Most of these creatures are from the UdP. Most other animals fall under Sentient, and remaining organisms under Intelligent
