The "Liability"

Its been a while!!!! I KNOW.... ADHD things...
As the person with ADHD in the relationship I have often felt like the "liability" or the "burden". It drove me to work harder on myself which in a way is a good thing. But allowing it to make myself feel less equal or generally bad about myself is not a good thing. A relationship takes work from both sides.
I am blessed with a patient and understanding partner that works as hard on himself and our relationship as I am. This has made us both be better people.
(But especially at the time this comment from someone who of course didn't realise it, was very hard and painful to hear).
