The hooded vampires disperse into the night, leaving the twins sprawled on the cold cement. Raziel eyed the familiar being from head to toe, not wanting to miss any detail.
'Why is he here? Of all places. . .' Raziel's eyes made a sudden stop at the man's neck.
'It does not look like he's held against his will seeing the lack of choker. Looking closely at his clothes and how those hooded vampires act, he at least climbed in power during my slumber.'
A thousand questions run through Raziel's, this unstable aura is immediately detected by his only kin. The little vampire glanced at him with a worried look before finally deciding to stand.
"Sir Heinley." Rhydian bowed, still giving Raziel a side glance.
'That light cherry colored hair, sun-kissed skin, clothes adorned with gold embellished with ruby, and air of high authority that doesn't suit him. He seems familiar, but at the same time a stranger.' With an overwhelming feeling, Raziel lowered his gaze, staring at the ground as he reminisces about the person he once knew.
"Raz, mind your manners. This is sir Heinley." Rhydian bit his lip as he helps Raz get up.
'Master is so out of it.' The little vampire's thought managed to snap Raziel out of his trance. He bowed as he introduces himself as 'Raz'.
"Stop with the pleasantries. His majesty assigned a room for you."
'His majesty? My sibling really covets everything I had. Does he enjoy my sloppy seconds?' Raz scoffed as he follow the back he once held intimately.
Rhydian, being his kin, can detect even a slight change in Raz's mood. With how the coven lord is feeling at the moment, the little vampire kept checking out his expression. Finally deciding what to do, Rhydian reached out for his master's hand, hoping his presence could help alleviate the mood.
The small gesture made Raziel smile, giving a light squeeze on the cold hand that approached him, he shakes his head trying to get into character. The twins comforted each other as they stare at the back of 'sir Heinley', their steps hesitant as the aloof man lead them along the blinding hallway.
Unlike Kalhil's design whims filled with elegance, the castle's hallway displays the same arrogance as its owner. The hallway, adorned with gold accents, looks like a personal gallery filled with self-portrait of the current Noxgimenos king. Plush red carpet cushions their feet, while the crystal-like chandeliers light their way.
Raziel pursed his lips at the flamboyant interior, suddenly missing Kalhil's subtle yet elegant taste.
'Raz, are you guys okay out there?' Aude shifted in Raziel's hood. Sir Heinley immediately turned, aiming his palm in Raz's direction.
Noticing the hostile energy, Raziel braces himself as he scoops out the fluffy creature out of his hood, gently tossing him to the side. The little feline softly landed on his paws as he watch his friend harshly fly over him, slamming hard on one of Levant's portraits. Raziel, despite neutralizing most of the impact, let out a cough of blood, causing distress to the little onlookers.
Rhydian, seeing his master in such a state, glared at sir Heinley. He bared his fangs, hissing, as he tries to put himself in the middle. Sir Heinley changed his target clearly aiming his next move towards the defenseless bundle of cotton. The little vampire changed his direction mid air once he notice this, charging at full speed, scooping the trembling Aude in his arms.
Both of them roll on the floor, Rhydian nimbly got to his knees, tense for the enemy's next move. Raziel felt goose bumps at the clashing hostility, not minding the pain on his back, he made his way in front of sir Heinley. His ruby orbs glowing with rage.
'Still quick on his feet this one.' Showing his palm, he managed to come in between. "Enough!" The intense aura changed into a sudden chill, all of them immediately face the commanding presence, lowering their heads out of guilt. The twins clenched their teeth as they need to keep 'an act' of complete submission towards the king. Whether they like it or not.
"Haahhhh. Heinley? What is this mess?"
The hostile man lowered his head as he bow towards the king. "My king, there was a foreig-" "You acted like this because of that lump of cotton? Look at that." Levant pointed at the trembling creature buried within Rhydian's hold. "Don't need to mind such a trivial thing. Quickly transfer us to their room."
A sudden change in environment occur, the blinding light turned into a cozy warm white, the twins kept their heads lowered not daring to start another confrontation.
"Both of you come here. Leave that thing there."
Rhydian carefully place Aude down, leaving the fluff alone as he stood beside Raz.
'Soft and shy, Raziel. Don't attract this person's interest.' Raz reminded himself, hesitantly looking at the king with a dress down attire. Levant nonchalantly sat on the armchair crossing his legs as he watch the twins.
Raziel's mouth twitch as he saw such a state Levant is in. 'Walking the hallways with only a golden robe?' Biting his lips into a thin line, he dragged himself in front of Levant with Rhydian following suit. The king smirked as he gesture with his finger pointing down, forcing them to kneel.
'Raz, the energy came from the other annoying dude.' Aude used the mind link boldly in front of two intimidating strangers. This rash behavior almost made Raziel show a twisted smile, almost breaking character. Thankfully, the coven lord managed to keep his expression 'soft and shy'. Completely different from his brother's usual taste.
"Now, how did that fool react to my reply?" Levant opened his palm, reaching for Rhydian's soft cheeks, poking it with his nail.
"My king, I'm not aware of this. We're often kept in the dark."
"Hahhhh. Useless. . . Answer this instead. How did the fool make you his kin?!" Rhydian whimpered, Levant harshly dragging his nail across the soft flesh, drawing out blood. A pungent iron-like smell filled the air as the arrogant king bring his nail close to his lips, licking the red fluid.
"We're sorry my king." Raziel interjected not wanting to see Levant bully his little vampire. The plan was supposed to be Rhydian seducing Levant to spill his secrets. But witnessing it first hand raised a feeling of possessiveness inside him.
'Is it because he's my first kin?' Raziel thought as he unconsciously blocked Rhydian, moving the little vampire behind his back as he daringly stare straight at Levant's eyes.
He felt Rhydian tug the hem of his clothes thinking, 'what are you doing master?'
'I have no idea.' For the first time, Raziel used a mind link to talk with Rhydian, causing the little vampire to gasp in surprise drawing unwanted attention.
"Hahhhhh. What is this? You twin. . . how dare you interrupt me?" Levant lowered his hand, placing it under Raz's chin, tilting it upward.
Knowing clearly well how to stroke his brother's ego, Raz dared to grab the arrogant hand placing it on his cheeks, rubbing his cheek against it as he maintain eye contact. Throwing in a flirty look.
He coyly flutter his eyes as he apologize. Levant seeing a refreshing approach chuckled, lifting the coy vampire to his lap.
"Aren't you a charmer?" He glared at the kneeling Rhydian one last time before snapping his finger calling for Heinley's attention.
"Return us to my chambers," The surroundings shift, revealing a flamboyant chamber filled with red and gold. Raziel controlled the urge to slap the domineering king in front of him.
"Hahhh. Heinly? Why are you here too? I want my time alone with this." Levant glared at the stoic man standing beside the edge of his bed. "But my ki-" "Enough" The king arrogantly waved his hand, making Heinley stop mid sentence. With a final bow, he head towards the door, gently closing it.
"Now" Levant lazily leaned on his headboard as he place the coy vampire in a straddling position.
"I. . ." Raz lowered his gaze meekly, struggling to keep his character.
"Undress"
