Halley watched the girl as she walked along with her friends Tamara and Rain. Her golden hair fell like sunlight. Her crystal blue eyes twinkled when she laughed. She noticed the other two stayed close to her, sending wary glances at the wizards and witches that passed. Another she never let down, but perhaps that was for the best. 

"She's cute, hmm?" Rain asked. 

"Yeah." Halley said without thinking.

 "Ahha! You do like her!" Rain exclaimed triumphantly.

 "I do not." Halley said, blushing.

 "You do to! You're blushing." Rain smirked. 

It was a good thing they stopped at the Wand Shop because Halley really did like her.
