I was there. In the classroom. Sitting at my desk, legs on my desk, arms behind my head. It was 2:55. That meant that the bell would ring in 5 mins. The history teacher was teaching us the story of the legendary 4 warriors. I didn’t pay attention to what she was saying cause:
I didn’t care.
And 2. I’ve already heard that story like a THOUSAND times from my nani, when I was a little kid.
The legendary 4 were a strong team of heroes, who protected and rescued the people of our kingdom, and they each tamed an elemental power. These powers were Water, Earth, Lightning and thunder, and even fire. They’d each have a classical weapon to help them control better their powers. These weapons were…
-RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING !!!
School was over. It was time to go home. Most of the students would either gather up with their friends and go directly to their shared-dorms while some would go home, in their nice comfortable tree houses, in the forest, but I, I was condemned to stay in school till the rest of my life. That meant I had to go to my dorm.
Right after when the bell ringed, all my classmates hurried outside like if they wanted to get out of this school of doom, while I took my time to take my stuff and go to my dorm. I got everything I owned, walked towards the door, and right when I was about to go, Ms. Nadley (who was reading a book by the way) , waved me a: « Have a nice day ! ». I gave her a cold look , and without knowing what to say to her, I slammed the door.
On the side of that same door, I was taking a deep breath. I started walking and thinking about what I’d done. I didn’t mean that. The cold look. The door slamming. Ever since I’ve entered this school, she was always so nice to me. All the anger tantrums, the negative comments and interruptions. Why? Why was she like that?
Right when I asked that question to myself, I heard a voice saying to me:
Fierin! Wait for me!
I looked back, and it was Mar’i : an old childhood friend of mine.
We started talking about how our journeys went, and how class was boring, when suddenly, we hear a big VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!! Taking place. It sounded like a helicopter noise, up the top of the school’s building. From there, a dark blue/purple haired-girl, came jumping off the helicopter. She was probably a rich kid. After all, how WOULD she get the money to buy a helicopter without starving of hunger for a couple months…except if she stole it. Anyways, she jumps off the helicopter, enters the principal door of our school and starts walking in the hallway, trying to look for something.
Mar’i , as naïve, cute , innocent and polite as she was, of course, said:
-Hi! My name’s Mar’i ! I feel like you’re looking for something. May I help you?
Instead of giving a response, that Sh*tty girl, gave us a cold look. In was petrified. That look was PRETTY cold. But a few minutes later, I finally managed to answer her back, with the help of my anger tantrums (and anybody that knows me, knows that, if my anger tantrums take over my brain, that’s not a good sign and you should run). Without managing anymore of my anger, I yelled:
-Hey blondy ! What’s the matter ? Scared of socializing? And just to inform you: NO ONE gives to my friend, a cold look like that!
She stopped walking and started smiling. But it wasn’t kind of the smiles you get when you make someone laugh, or the ones you get when its picture day. Its the kind of creepy smiles you see in horror movies. I guess she really isn’t really for picture day then. Right after that delight tend creepy smile, she then said:
-You remind me of an old friend…stubborn, arrogant, brave…and foolish.
That little, b*tch! I was NOT gonna let someone intimidate me like that. So without even thinking, I started running angerly towards her, forming with my hands, a small fireball, that I’d be able to through to her, once I was close to her.
When I was close enough to her, she took her time raising her hand and pointing her index at me, and without hesitating, she zapped me with her finger, which caused me to have an electrical choc.
