“Come on, Jane!” Martin tries to give me his puppy-dog eyes. “Just for a little bit!”

“Martin, I have been your best friend for over 15 years, do you really think that your puppy-dog eyes are going to work on me?”

“No,” he says, putting his head down.

“What about mine then?” Jonny asks, grabbing my hand and holding it to his chest.

“No fair, using your Omega eyes on me!” I sigh looking into his dough green eyes. “Fine, fine, we can go out for a bit!”

“Hey, we have to celebrate your promotion,” James winks. After eating the cake celebrating the three years with my team, James offered me a promotion. I would still be able to work with my old team, but I would get to have even more freedom with my experiments. And a nice raise to boost.

“Alright, alright. Where are we going to go?” I sigh, then laugh.

“I was thinking Pink Walls?” Zach says.

“Yes!” Martin hops in excitement. “I love that place!”

“Is it the newer one down on Olly street?” I confirm.

“Yep,” Jonny nods.

“Okay, perfect,” I look towards Martin for confirmation. He nods, so I add: “Y’all want to stay with us tonight?”

“‘Course!” James says while Jonny and Zach nod. “I love having our big sleepovers!”

Martin and I recently moved to a bigger apartment that could house all of us during a sleepover. It has led to quite a many wonderful movie nights at our place.

“How about we all meet at our place at six?” Martin suggests. “That way we have time to cook, eat, and change.”

“Yes! What are we having?” Jonny asks. He knows how much Martin and I love cooking.

“Curry?” I ask.

“God, I love your curry,” Zach smiles, putting his arms around Jonny’s waist, giving him a hug from behind.

“Red or green?” James asks.

“Green!” Martin and I both exclaim.

“Awesome, see you at 6 then,” James winks.

“Yeah, see you soon,” Jonny and Zach shuffle out, leaving Martin and I.

“I am so proud of you,” Martin takes me into his arms.

“I’m proud of you too. More than you could ever know.”

Martin releases me and offers me his arm. “Shall we?”

“We shall.” We link arms and head out of the breakroom, making our way home to make some curry.

“Jane, I love you honey, but you absolutely cannot wear that to the club tonight.” Jonny shakes his head when he sees my outfit.

“But-”

“Nope, I am not even going to let you say anything about being a Beta. Here, let me help you.”

“I am not going to get out of this, am I?”

“Ahh, you are one smart cookie! Just let me glam you up,” I get a wink.

“Hair and makeup too?”

“Of course my dear, of course!”

I just nod as he gets to work fixing my outfit.

“And I give you the gorgeous Dr. Jane Paige,” Jonny announces to everyone, bringing me to the living room on his arm.

“Hot damn, girl!” Martin whistles. “I forgot you have those curves.”

“Looking good, Jane,” Zach nods. “You did a great job, love.”

“Oh, I know,” Jonny smirks.

He dressed me in a tight, navy blue dress, much shorter and tighter than anything I ever wear. Apparently he knew I was going to be a fashion disaster and brought the dress with him. He did my hair in soft beach waves and added gold eyeliner and highlighter to accentuate my eyes.

“What do you think, James?” Jonny and Martin share wicked grins.

“You look great, Jane. Good job Jonny.” I can’t tell for sure, but it almost looks like James is blushing. “Are we ready to head out?”

“Yep, let’s go,” Martin ushers us all out. “Tonight is going to be awesome!”
