Dagny was holding his breath. The skeleton turned the other way and walked away.
"You good?" Emir asked.
"Holy shit dude! I just saw a skeleton."
"Cool, well we gotta hur- wait WHAT!?"
"I don't know dude, I thought it was a cop and hid in a trash can. It had boney hands, white skin, and hollow eye sockets."
"Dude you gotta follow it, be careful though!"
"Are you asking me to follow a SKELETON?"
"Yes, I am asking the guy with fire breath to follow a skeleton."
"True... but why should I?"
"Aren't you curious."
"Well, you got that right but remember why I came here."
"I know. But isn't it weird that the first skeleton in the known history was seen here, an island that is taken over by a mafia and miraculously unpenetrable to other world governments?"
"Are you saying this skeleton might have a connection to the mafia?"
"Well..."
"Fine I am going, if I can catch up to it that is."
The skeleton was not far away. It was walking through streets in broad daylight. As the sun hit its body Dagny could see the ribcage through its police outfit.
Dagny follows it to a big warehouse guarded by police. These police were also a bit off. Some of them seemed also to be skeletons and some had skin that seemed a bit decayed.
Great. Not just skeletons but possibly undead too.
Dagny walked to the back of the warehouse where the undead couldn't see him. He used a trick that he learned recently to get on to one of the windows.
He had figured out that fire didn't just come out of his mouth, any hole in his body could be used to use fire. Through trial and error,he figured out how to use his hands to create fire. "His hands could sweat so it could also sweat fire" was his logic.
He propelled himself on to the window and looked inside. There he was, the head of the mafia family. The Don was shouting threats at a guy around his age.
"We need more undead!" Don said.
"But..." the other guy said. As he put his hands on the ground, more undead started to emerge from the ground. "Just promise you won't do anything to them." he continued as he pointed at a door.
Hostages?
"You have my word. I may be a bad guy but I keep them."
