"So she'll send you a letter?" Rose asked, after hearing her friend's story about Kumiho.
Eliza nodded.
"Damn it. You should have told me."
"I know. I'm sorry."
The two went downstairs to get their breakfast. Eliza offered to cook. Rose sat down at the table that divided the kitchen and the living room.
"No matter what happens, I'll be there for you."
A small blush appeared on the witch's cheeks at hearing her friend's promise. In the meantime she gathered the ingredients for fried eggs.
"Thank you," Eliza said, still facing the kitchen counter and mindlessly staring at the carton.
"No problem," They both knew each other long enough that she could hear the small smile in Rose's voice. "Say, do you know what will be in the letter?"
Eliza shook her head.
"She only said there would be details inside. That could be anything. She said she would lead us to Ino though if I finished this job for her, so I hope she'll keep that promise."
She turned around, waiting for the butter to melt, and saw her friend's face twisted in a scowl.
"If she doesn't, I'll tear that bitch to shreds," A flame started to flicker in her hand.
Eliza slowly nodded. "Just don't set the kitchen on fire, okay?"
The apprentice witch closed her hand, snuffing out the flame, and chuckled.
"Okay, mom."
The pan was ready and Eliza cracked two eggs. After a few minutes they were done, and she placed the plate in front of the girl. Then she made her own.
"Ugh, what are we gonna do today?" Rose wondered, munching on her eggs, "There's even less to do here than in Salem."
The second batch of eggs were almost done, and Eliza took a plate from the cabinet.
"We could ask Megan and Lily if they know something."
Rose nodded and watched as Eliza turned off the heat and slid the eggs on her plate. They sat at the table for a short bit eating their breakfast and then headed out to the main building.

"Are you ready to go?" A voice that sounded like the darkness itself, reached Ino's ears.
She was in the middle of another episode of the scenery swirl. The fog she had experienced before, was still there, but it was less intrusive now.
One image stopped in front of her. It depected a familiar face. It was Anubis, the Egyptian god of the Afterlife. She knew because she once had an obsession with anything related to Ancient Egypt. The man with the face of a jackal talked to her, and the place where normally the eyes would be, glowed red. Would this be the end of her? Or was she already gone?
"To where?" She asked. She didn't bother being polite.
"To a better place ofcourse."
Ino got the chills. Something was off. An arm reached through the image in front of her, gripping her head. A burning pain started to radiate from the scar on her forehead, making her cry out. She tried to fight back, but no matter how hard she screamed and trashed her limbs around, the god was still stronger. He dragged her through the frame, her body compressing as if by magic. Her stomach churned.
"Welcome to my lair."
She opened her eyes, the pain subsiding and an overwelming feeling of chaos filled her whole being. The room she had arrived in was dark red, a red that reminded her of blood. Torches with black flames lined the walls. She was sure the torches were for decoration only, as they did not do much for brightening up this place. The only real light came from the flickering flames behind the red throne seated in the back of the room. The god was sitting on said throne.
"What do you think?"
Ino looked at him and then something clicked. This was not Anubis, she realized, this was an imposter. A monster that pretended to be something it was not. The cold claws of chaos that tried to devour her soul were not the work of the god of the Afterlife, she was sure. Anubis was known for judging souls and guiding the lost, not instigating chaos.
"Not very talkative, huh?" he continued, watching the weak girl in front of him, limply sitting there.
She looked up at him, with a fierce glare in her eyes. Her body might have given out, but her mind was so much more clear now than it had ever been.
"I know you're not Anubis. Tell me who you are."
Ino's words evoked a cold chuckle from the man.
"Ooh, you figured it out, huh?" He snapped his fingers and black flames engulfed him, licking away his Anubis disguise. When the flames died down, it revealed a human-like physique, with skin that was darker than a starless night. His eyes glowed red, the only color in his appearance, and his dark, silky hair almost reached the floor. A simple black cloth covered his groin.
"I am Ahriman, the true God of Chaos," he announced, "I also like to be called the God of Darkness or the God of the End. Anything is fine with me," he smirked, stepping forward.
"What do you want from me?!" Ino spewed her words with as much hatred she could manage. No matter if he was a god or a mortal, she knew she would never bow down to a man like this. She was too stuborn for that.
The god crouched down in front of her and held her face in his hand, the grip forceful and cold.
"I want you to become my Goddess," he whispered, his voice dripping with dark intentions. His long reptile-like togue stole a taste of her skin.
"NO WAY!" Ino slapped his face. She expected him to get angry, but all he did was laugh. A dark, cold laugh that chilled her skin, her bones, her very core.
He looked back down at her, now standing, and she noticed how tall he actually was.
"So funny," he spoke, "As if you have a choice in the matter. You will become my goddess, whether you want it or not. Evil doesn't wait, my dear Ino."
Ahriman snapped his fingers again, and chains wrapped themselves around the girl's wrists and ankles. A bed with a black frame and red satin sheets appeared behind her out of thin air.
"Now, shall we begin?"
