Hello Everyone!

Sorry I took so long to reveal the results of this year’s Inksgiving😅 The past two months in general have been full of more downs than ups, but as one of my favorite Disney movies says, Keep moving forward!

I thought that in addition to announcing the results I could do a fun little Q&A, so I asked some readers what questions they had about Divine Corruption and came up with a small list of questions. So, thank you all once again for subscribing and supporting me! Y’all are one of the few things keeping me moving forward and I can never say thank you enough💝

How did you come up with this story? 

I am notorious for running polls on Twitter, and I did a series of polls to get an idea of what my followers who read my content would be interested in for whatever kinktober trope I wanted to write. I’d chosen about three, and so when I posted the poll for exhibitionism and punishment/shaming, one of the options was “New OCs😈.” What my followers didn’t know was that I had NO new OCs to speak of at the time! But, when I was asking close mutuals who voted, one said they’d chosen new OCs because of the emoji I used. And then suddenly I had the thought/it came to me: “One of them is an angel!” And since I’d already chosen a vampire theme, I had my pair! And then it was coming up with names, which went by pretty fast (I usually take hours to find the right name) and bing, bam, BOOM Divine Corruption was born.

Do you plan on continuing this story?

I do and don’t… 

I made these OCs initially for kinktober only, but then realized I like them far more than them being just for kinktober. Therefore, I’ve started to draft their main story and at first I wasn’t going to keep the supernatural element, but after thinking on it more and sending “feelers” out to faithful readers, I found a way to keep some of the supernatural sexiness. BUT that’s all I can say right now. I do have a treat planned with my next ink goal, so make sure to check the author’s note🤗

How long does it take you to work on a project? 

MONTHS! Not only because writing, which when I’m in the dumps is much slower going, but because of test readers, editors, and working with the artist(s) I commission for scenes and/or cover. But for DC specifically, it took me a month because I planned in advance that I wanted to write these kinktober fics (like back in September).

Do you have a favorite character? 

Between these two… probably Jophiel. He’s just so repressed and his intensity is really fun to write and interrogate as a writer, but also when I read over it (even though it embarrasses me to read what I write, another reason it takes me a while to complete projects), he’s fun from a reader’s perspective. 

When will your next project be released? 

I’ve already released Chapter I: Part One of The Burdens We Hide since we went BEYOND my Inksgiving goal! But to be more precise, I’d planned to start its release this month but I’m still trying to confirm the cost commissioning scenes and setting up my Kofi Gold subscription account. So, it’ll probably be released at the end of December or in January. So, please subscribe now so you don’t miss its official release! 

What was Dominic’s life like before he met Jophiel? 

So, I hint at why Jophiel’s come after Dominic but I’ll explain more now. 

Basically, he’s a vampire vigilante: he uses his vampire powers to find evil people and either kills them outright or tortures them enough so they don’t commit their crimes again. So he and Jophiel are similar, and that’s why Jophiel somewhat relents after he digs around in Dominic’s memories. 

Is there more to Dominic’s punishment? 

I mean, being tossed from the side of a building and thinking you’ve done dirty things in front of an audience is punishment in its own way, right😳
