Andi, a socially awkward college student by day and certified sad boy by night, is crushing hard on the talented and mysterious instagram artist known only as losartslapsss, aka K.
After being hounded by his management team for not interacting enough with his followers, K. joins TextYourFaves, an app that allows influencers and celebrities to safely give out their "phone number" so that fans can chat with them directly.
Of course, Andi texts the number.
But he doesn't take the conversation seriously because he assumed he would get paired with a bot. However, after a few minutes of messaging back and forth with K., Andi realizes he isn't talking to a bot at all. He's talking to the actual artist! Andi is totally mortified... Why? Because the last message that he sent to K., before finding out he wasn't texting a fake, was:
"i would literally give up my firstborn to have just 1 night with u"
And it only goes downhill from there... or does it?
