DRAMATIS PERSONAE
• Kôra Halin: Our main character, please wish for his maturity and better judgement.
• Haren Tsiyu: Main character's tired uncle, currently worried of what he was getting himself into.
• Keane Lampblack: The fairy-kind who was accomodating Kôra. Does he know everything except what you want to know, or is he just trolling?
• Meara Tsiyu: Kôra's adoptive mother from Earth. An adaptable fellow, too bad she died before Kôra could know the truth (else this story would finish sooner).
• Diana Lampblack: Keane's younger sister. Unlike him, she will not trick little children to eat vanillin powder and unsweetened cocoa.
• Iota: The pacifist bad liar who is also involved with Keane. What regrets did she have?
• Naldo: Just your average caring batchmate who occasionally smokes electronic cigarette (do not be a snitch!). He sure pays attention to Kôra.
• The Hanged Man: Currently we know very little about his motive, yet Kôra answered him with hostility. Totally not a tarot arcana.
• Izky: The coffee-crazed guy who helped Kôra in astral realm, please give him more coffee.
• Agian: A metallic being from the astral realm with uncivil disposition. His name is not a typo.

RECAPITULATION
(This is the recapitulation for chapter 11–20, for the recapitulation of chapter 1–10, see the first intermission chapter)
Before preparing himself to move to Keane's house, Kôra had a flashback dream about his adoptive mother. She said that his biological parents were most likely heinous people. His talk with Haren almost ended with Kôra threatening Haren not to ideate suicide. However, the boy learned that one of the contributing factor of his uncle declining mental health was also the haunting by the same presence he dubbed as The Hanged Man. When Kôra was packing, The Hanged Man confronted Kôra again and told him cryptic bits about himself.
Staying in Keane's house, Kôra expected to find the truth about himself. Unfortunately, Keane was not as coordinative and knowledgeable as he thought. Not only that, he could not even get any useful hint about the organization behind him. It was until he overheard Keane's phone call that a failure of a mission regarding him will cause a disaster, and he started to suspect himself being the cause of Aylar earthquake. Keane debunked this and state that they are in this together.
After an embarrassing moment with Naldo who caught him self-harming, Kôra hoped to find solace when he arrived home. Meanwhile, Keane and his sister Diana conversed about Kôra's unsupportive extended adoptive family on their way home. Unfortunately for Kôra, he met The Hanged Man posing as him again at the kitchen who insisted to talk. Thinking he was the one who caused the earthquake, Kôra got provoked and injured The Hanged Man who at the end revealed his true form. However, it was a trick and Kôra actually had been hurting himself the whole time.
At hospital, the worried Haren had a talk about his nephew's unknown ability with Keane. Quietly he started to question what true nature of Keane's organization is. Later at that night Keane spotted mysterious appearances of monsters. They had a mysterious origin and seemed to kill in a silent way.
The sleeping Kôra awoke in a strange land where even stranger monsters tried to get a piece of him. The kid was rescued by a hunter, a Xhichai shape shifter named Izky. He elaborated that the projection of Kôra physical body somehow thrown away to the astral realm, and mentioned the spirits as a possibility. After he pieced information about Kôra and his possible involvement with the spirits while the kid pleaded for help to bring him back, Izky decided to escort Kôra to a return point.
Enter Agian, Izky's argumentative partner who insisted on ditching Kôra and got on the boy's nerve. After Izky informed that Kôra was probably followed by a spirit, Agian suddenly agreed to escort Kôra back. In the material realm, Iota volunteered to assist Keane. They found out that the monsters are similar to those found in the astral realm.
