They could have sworn that there was a photo of them and their sister hanging on the wall just yesterday. Maybe their mother had decided to move it? They didn’t think much of it and continued with their day.

The next day they knew there were definitely a few less photos of them on the walls but thought nothing of it. Though they could have sworn there were a few more photos of their sister yesterday. They made a note to ask their mother later and went on with their day.

Their mother had said she didn’t notice anything amiss but they knew that there was at least twice the number of photos on the wall yesterday. When they looked the only photos that they couldn’t find were of them and their sister. They definitely knew something odd was happening and made a note to see if their sister noticed it too.
--
Their sister had said they noticed that too, but she thought it was just a prank. They decided to think nothing of it but when they noticed that the photos of themself on their own phone were missing? They were definitely worried now. No one knew the password to their phone but themself.

The next day only their sister was going to be home with them. They were going to go to their bedroom and spend the day on discord, and tumblr but they heard a knock at the door.
“Hello, how can I help you?”
“Could you get your sister for me? I have urgent business with both of you.”
They were getting a weird feeling about this guy, but they had a taser.
“Ok, come in. You can sit on the sofa.”
“Thank you!”
They got their sister and sat on the sofa opposite the stranger.
“Sorry, before we start, can I take a photo of you two?”
"Sure?" they replied, not quite sure why they wanted a picture.
The stranger took out their camera, it looked old, and took a picture.
The click of the shutter was the last thing they heard. They didn’t know how long it had been, it felt like no time had passed, but from the calendar hanging opposite their frame, at least a few years had passed.
They missed their mother.
