Teagan

I rounded a corner, I needed to get to my next class, before I was late. I spotted Kain talking to another guy. They didn't look like brothers. Maybe friends. Walk around him, I told myself. I was pulled by him, he walked up to me and I walked up to him. "Tell me your name." He said. I shrugged.

Why hadn't he asked sooner? Cause men are stupid. Tori said rolling her eyes. "Teagan." I started to walk away I still had another class to get to. "Tegan wait." My name on his lips stopped me. "Can we. . . Do you want to go out? To get to know each other." Tori grinned and nodded her head. "Sure. Call me at 860- ***- ****." I frowned at Tori. Why the phone number, I asked. How else is he supposed to tell you where to go and when? I sighed, she had a point. I started to walk away.

As I reached the end of the hall the realization struck me. Kain just asked me out. I was bubbling inside. Go back! Tori snarled. I let Tori take control. She ran back to Kain and hugged him. Kain froze them melted into our touch. He turned around and placed a kiss on my lips. Tori pulled away leaving me in control.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. His tongue slipped past my lips. He tasted just how he smelled, like tangerines. His hands slipped down to my hips pulling me closer. Kain backed me up to a wall, and kissed my mating spot. I shivered and moaned softly.

"Please Teagan. I can't hold back any longer." Kain groaned in my ear. Let him. Tori roared. "I- I. . . Not yet." I breathed. Kain nodded and backed away. Let him. Please Teagan. Tori begged. It was really hot, I was probably sweating. "Damn girl. You got Kain tied in knots." I nodded and ruffled my hair. It was that guy Kain was with. "I'm Teagan." I held out a hand. Kain growled at me.

I quickly pulled my hand back. "Daemon. That was a very steamy make out session." I flushed scarlet. "I- I- I. . ." Daemon cut me off. "It's okay. Kain is a good kisser, or so I heard. Anyway, congrats. What pack are you from?" I groaned. "It's going to take a while to explain." I said. "Tell it." 

"I'm originally from the Waning Moon Pack. But I had a mate before Kain." I started. "You what!" Kain roared. My eyes flicked to his. He was livid. "I. . . We tried for a couple months, but it wasn't working for me. I rejected him. He made me alpha of the Moonlight's Kiss Pack, because he couldn't lead without me." Daemon looked confused.

"How can you have two mates?" I shrugged. "I honestly don't know. That's why I want to slow down with Kain." Kain was growling. "Where is the fucker?!" He growled. "I don't know. He's a loner now." Kain grinned with smug satisfaction. The bell rang. "Shit! I have to go! Love you, bye!" I shot to my feet, and took off.
