“Mom, I’m home!” Inari called as she walked through the door.

“How was your magical girl mission?” Her mother asked.

“It went pretty well,” Inari replied. “The monster didn’t even get a chance to get close to the town or any civilians.”

“Good, sweetheart.” Her mom smiled. “You’ve been working really hard at your duties. I’m proud of you.”
